This is the city song of Numazu, located in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, created in 1955 when it merged with Ashitaka Village, Uchiura Village, Ohira Village, and Nishiura Village.

The composer is Yoshinao Nakada, who wrote many children’s songs such as “Chiisai Aki Mitsuketa” (I Found a Little Autumn).

This video features a version sung by the VOCALOID MAYU.

Makinohara is a city in central Shizuoka Prefecture, established in 2005 through the merger of Haibara and Sagara.

This song was created in 2015 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the merger.

The lyrics were selected based on a public submission process.

It is sung by Kazutaka Imamura, who is from Makinohara.

Shimada City SongMakiko Oishi

This is the city song of Shimada City, located in central Shizuoka Prefecture.

The original tune was composed in 1948, but after the city was newly merged with Kanaya Town in 2005, a new city song was needed, and this song was established in 2010.

The melody is the same as the former city song, but the lyrics are new.

It’s a ward residents’ folk dance song from Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City, a relatively new piece created in 2014.

It is sung by Masato Suzuki, who lives in Tenryu Ward, and the CD is sold at an art gallery called “Marukawa no Kura Sasa-mizu.” This video shows it being danced at the Tenryu Industry and Tourism Festival.

This is the city song of Hamamatsu, the largest municipality by area in Shizuoka Prefecture.

It was newly created to mark the incorporation of 11 cities, towns, and villages in 2005, and was released in 2007.

The lyrics are by Bo Hayashi, and the music is by Yasuhide Ito.
