Karaoke songs by SixTONES that are easy to sing

SixTONES is a six-member idol group that made a spectacular debut in 2020.

While each member shines individually and often takes on vocal parts, many of their songs are exceptionally compelling—so much so that they can’t be neatly categorized as just “idol group” tracks.

They have a lot of really cool songs.

That said, many of their tracks include English lyrics and rap, making them a bit challenging to sing at karaoke.

So, from among SixTONES’ songs, I’d like to introduce selections with a focus on how easy they are to sing.

I’ve chosen songs with more Japanese lyrics, so even those who aren’t comfortable with English can use this as a helpful reference!

NEW WORLDSixTONES

SixTONES – NEW WORLD - Selfie One-Cut MV
NEW WORLDSixTONES

A song that evokes bright hope and a strong bond.

It’s packed with the appeal of SixTONES and is sure to fire up any karaoke session.

Included on the regular edition of the single “Imitation Rain / D.

D.” released in January 2020, it carries the joy and determination of their debut.

True to the group name, which signifies both “raw gems” and various “tones,” the six members’ unique personalities shine, showcasing their charm to the fullest.

While reaffirming their bond as teammates and singing together in unison, you’ll feel as if you’re taking a step into a new world.

Life in colorSixTONES

The song “Life in color,” included as the coupling track on the limited edition of the 3rd single “NEW ERA.” Its lyrics carry the message that the world becomes more vibrant when you’re with someone special—something anyone in love can surely relate to.

The overall key is low and there aren’t any large melodic leaps, so it’s a calm, approachable choice for karaoke.

However, if you don’t consciously feel the bounce of the shuffle beat, the melody won’t sit properly in the ensemble and will feel off, so be mindful when you sing.

Featured on their first album “1ST,” “Kono Hoshi no HIKARI” was used as an in-play song for the stage production “Shonentachi: Sekai no Yume ga… Sensō o Shiranai Kodomotachi,” in which they starred alongside Snow Man.

Its breezy sound, highlighted by a luxurious brass arrangement, stirs the heart together with its warm, heartfelt lyrics.

While the melody is relaxed and sits within a narrow range, the rhythm is tight to match the ensemble, so be careful not to let it drag.

It’s a sparkling, exhilarating uptempo tune that’s sure to hype up the room when you sing it with friends at karaoke.

Included on the second album “CITY,” the song “Rosy” was written as the theme for the Japanese-dubbed version of the film “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” Its dramatic ensemble—marked by a thrilling beat and striking piano phrases—carries an atmosphere that resonates with the film’s world.

Although the structure is challenging, with rapid-fire rap sections swiftly alternating with more relaxed melodies, the limited pitch movement and relatively narrow vocal range make it easy to sing once you’ve learned it well.

If it’s still hard to perform solo, invite some friends—this is a karaoke track you’ll want to deliver together, cool and confident.

From here, SixTONES

A single with a positive message that really resonates.

SixTONES’s latest work is compelling for its gentle yet powerful push to rise again from setbacks and rock bottom.

Released in June 2023, it drew attention as the theme song for the NTV Sunday drama “However, There Is Passion.” Its fiery rhythm fuses hip-hop with band sounds, and the intense rap leaves a strong impression.

It topped the Oricon rankings and won Best Drama Song at the 116th The Television Drama Academy Awards.

It’s the perfect track when you want to chase your dreams or fire yourself up.

It’s also a blast to sing at karaoke.

Figure SixTONES

The song “Figure,” included as a coupling track on the 5th single “Mascara” in both the First-Press Limited Edition B and the Regular Edition.

Composed by Kujira, a Vocaloid producer also known as the creator of yama’s “Haru wo Tsugeru,” it became a hot topic for its hooky, piano-forward sound.

The melody moves quickly and even features rap, so it isn’t easy, but since the key is low and the range isn’t very wide, it should be quite singable if you learn it well and give it a try.

If possible, invite a friend and sing it together—it’s a stylish pop tune.

NEW ERASixTONES

SixTONES – NEW ERA – [YouTube Ver.]
NEW ERASixTONES

This song is characterized by an emotionally charged, high-velocity mixture of loud rock.

Its lyrics express a resolve to carve out their own future, symbolizing a leap into a new era.

Released in November 2020, it was also selected as the opening theme for the Yomiuri TV/NTV anime Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.

The intro’s koto, a traditional Japanese instrument, complements the anime’s worldview.

This work stands as a symbol of SixTONES’s dawning new era and can be seen as the crystallization of the members’ new challenges.

It’s the perfect track for getting the crowd fired up at karaoke or when you’re ready to take a new step forward.
