They have many slightly slower-tempo tracks and are geniuses at moving listeners to tears with their melodies.

In “Closer,” they even sing themselves, crafting a fleeting yet beautiful song.

Afrojack actually has ties to the Japanese music scene and has even provided tracks for Sandaime J-Soul Brothers.

His songs tend to be relatively bright, with lots of summery tunes.

Galantis is an EDM producer from Sweden.

Their lineup of tracks features uniquely addictive shimmering synths and edited high-pitched vocals.

Though their career is still relatively young, they’ve already released several hits—“Runaway (U & I)” being one of them.

It’d feel great to listen to it while driving at night.

TouloseNicky Romero

Nicky Romero from the Netherlands.

As you can see in the music video for this track, his performances wearing the mask of the global hacker collective Anonymous are striking.

The songs are also highly rousing, with tracks that stoke the energy on the dance floor.

By the way, most Japanese people have probably heard one of his songs: SEKAI NO OWARI’s hit “Dragon Night,” aka “Doragenai,” was produced by Nicky Romero.

R3HAB is a star of bounce-style EDM.

Bounce refers to EDM centered on tightly oscillating, up-and-down synth sounds—music that makes you want to jump to the beat.

One of R3HAB’s signature tracks is “How We Party.” There are no vocals; it’s purely a song made for dancing to its bouncing sound.
