The Notorious B.
I.
G.
’s “One More Chance” is a smooth, 90s R&B–styled track with comforting female vocals that evokes the feel of a summer day by the seaside.
Released in 1994, it appears on his legendary debut album, which was selected for Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” It’s perfect for blasting at summer outdoor events like barbecues and beach outings, but it also works beautifully as a stylish, laid-back BGM at home—one of its biggest charms.
LUMBERJACKTyler, The Creator

When it comes to songs that symbolize the West Coast, many people likely think of this track by 2Pac.

Its lyrics reflect California’s free and optimistic vibe, paired with striking synths and a powerful rhythm.
It was performed by Dr.
Dre and Snoop Dogg during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in 2022.

This is a classic hip-hop track by DMX, an artist who delivers a gangsta-like sound with heavy flows and a mainstream feel.

I Get Money50 Cent

As a real-deal rapper, 50 Cent still enjoys strong support from many heads.
He grew up in a very rough environment—he never knew his father, his mother, who had him at 15, was murdered, and he was dealing “that stuff” as a job from the age of 12.
That past is powerfully reflected in his music, and money often shows up as a theme in his songs.
“I Get Money” is one such track—classic hip-hop that portrays his rise to the top.
If you want a hard jolt to kick you out of that summer slump, give it a listen.
Mr. WendalArrested Development

The collaboration between Asake and Travis Scott showcases a seamless harmony between their musical styles.
