[KashiTaro Ito] Pierrot [I tried singing]
Clown KEI feat. Kashitaro Ito

A heart-stopping handsome-voiced singer whose tone isn’t too low or too high—sure to hit with every audience.

True to the nickname “vocal monster,” he’s basically a pro, delivering the entire song with a powerful voice without missing a single note.

Combined with lyrics built around a sorrowful storyline, it’s profoundly moving.

Maki

Miku – P² (NfN) English/Romaji Sub
P²Maki

This is a song by Maki, also known under the name “Gizen-sha P” (Hypocrite P).

It was released in 2012.

The heavily distorted guitar sounds are really cool! Recommended for men who like hard rock.

The song expresses the feelings of a protagonist living fleetingly at the end of the world, letting you sink into a hot, emotional mood.

Some of Maki’s other songs are connected within the same timeline, so if you like this one, be sure to check those out too.

Pygmalionout of survice

Pygmalion out of service

This is “Pygmalion” by the music unit out of survice.

The original meaning of “Pygmalion” is the story of falling in love with a statue one has made.

When I first heard this song, I wondered who was singing it.

I still can’t believe it’s a Vocaloid.

This track broadened the scope of what Vocaloid can do.

I think it’s a song that deserves to be known by many more people.

mathru – PippiPirikara, Pirikarako. feat. Narukaka Hime & Mikoto – PippiPirikara Pirikarako feat. Meika Hime/Mikoto
From Pippi Spicy, to Spicy-ko. Kanemiso P

This song was used as the ending theme for the anime “Hakata Mentai! Pirikarako-chan.” Composed by Kanimiso-P—also known as the creator of the hugely popular Gakupo classic “Dancing☆Samurai”—it was released in 2019.

A cute and poppy tune themed around mentaiko (spicy cod roe), its adorable sound alone is enough to soothe the soul.

The vocalists Mikoto and Hime sound like they’re having fun, too.

Perfect for when you want to lift your spirits!

Kasukabe Tsumugi “Pirikara”
Pirikara Kuritanika

This is a Vocaloid track with a delightfully crisp tone that makes you want to start dancing.

It’s by the Vocaloid producer Kuritanika, who also created “Apollo” and “Tarante La Musica,” and it was released in June 2023.

If you’re into dance rock, this is a must-listen.

The flow and rhythm of the lyrics feel incredibly satisfying.

And the standout feature of this work is that it’s sung by VOICEVOX Kasukabe Tsumugi.

Since VOICEVOX is software that reads out typed text, it doesn’t actually have a “singing” function.

You can really see Kuritanika’s technical prowess.

I can’t win a PS5 lottery.hateful U

Can't Win a PS5 / Nikkuki Yuu feat. Hatsune Miku
That damned lottery won’t let me win a PS5.

The game console released in 2020, PlayStation 5.

At launch, the limited production numbers couldn’t meet demand, and many stores held lottery sales.

Whether you could buy one came down to luck.

This song expresses the sadness of not winning those lotteries.

It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Nikkukiyu, released the same year.

Its appeal lies in an energetic yet wistful band sound and lyrics that feel strikingly realistic.

I wonder… did Nikkukiyu manage to get a PS5?

Piña Coladascrew-type

[Yukari Yuzuki & IA] Piña Colada [Original]
Pina Colada screw type

Why is it that forbidden love is so impossible to look away from? This piece is by Nejishiki, a Vocaloid producer known for hits like “Freedom Lolita,” and it was released in 2017.

It’s a mature duet number sung by Yuzuki Yukari and IA.

The band sound is wrapped in the beautiful tones of strings and piano, and that sultry sonic texture highlights the fragile quality of their vocals.

You can’t help but wonder, “What kind of ending will this story come to?”
