[Newer] Summary of Vocaloid Hall of Fame Songs (1–10)
Amatsukitsune (10th Anniversary ver.)Marasy × Kota Horie (kemu) × Jin feat. Kagamine Rin

Amatsukitsune, released in 2012 and inducted into the “Legendary” category, received a special 10th anniversary edition: Amatsukitsune (10th Anniversary ver.
).
This version drew attention for its star-studded collaboration featuring artists like marasy, Kota Horie (kemu), and Jin.
While preserving the original’s Japanese-style flavor, it delivers a sound that highlights deeper bass and the color of the piano.
Be sure to take your time and compare them closely.
Tokumei M feat. Hatsune Miku & ARuFaPinocchioP

The work that shocked many Vocaloid fans with its unique and innovative idea is “Anonymous M feat.
Hatsune Miku & ARuFa.” This piece was released by PinocchioP in 2023.
The “Anonymous M” in the title refers to Hatsune Miku, and the concept is that she answers interview questions anonymously.
Its rhythm sits somewhere between conversation and singing, which is incredibly catchy.
Another charm is the abundance of laugh-out-loud exchanges.
In fact, there are works that were inspired by this song as well.
Dark hotpot!!!!cosMo@Bousou-P

cosMo@Bousou-P, who has produced numerous “legendary” tracks, created a particularly unique piece among his works: “Yaminabe!!!!”.
Its most distinctive feature is that the BPM repeatedly rises and falls between 75 and 300, giving you the sensation that many different songs have been packed into one.
It truly lives up to the name “Yaminabe” (“dark hot pot”).
Although this approach hadn’t appeared in cosMo@Bousou-P’s previous works, it pairs perfectly with his hallmark ultra-fast vocals.
Wind to flowersBalloon

The much-talked-about Vocaloid song “Hana ni Kaze” was created by Balloon, aka Keina Suda, marking his first such work in seven years since 2016.
It’s also known as the image song for “360 Reality Audio.” The track delivers a brisk, exhilarating sound that evokes the sensation of wind sweeping through.
In contrast, the lyrics are a poignant meditation on a love that’s fading away.
There’s plenty of room for interpretation, so try listening while imagining the story behind it—you may find the meaning of the title becoming clearer.
Hey, hey, hey.PinocchioP

The song “Nē Nē Nē” is popular for its highly relatable lyrics.
It’s a work by PinocchioP using Kagamine Rin and Hatsune Miku, with each of them singing the feelings of a boyfriend and a girlfriend.
The theme is that, even when one tries to talk, the other only replies with half-hearted acknowledgments.
If you’ve had a similar experience, you’ll probably feel like this song is your own.
Another highlight is that the lyrics invite various interpretations.
Try listening with special attention to the chorus.
What’s up? Pop!Capchii

One piece that made waves for being implemented in rhythm games is “What’s up? Pop!”.
It’s a work by Capchii.
It comically portrays someone doing their best while juggling a hectic daily life.
You could take it as a cheer-up song, so it’s great to listen to when you need a boost.
And the key highlight of this track is its dramatically shifting BPM.
In particular, the section that drops from 230 down to 85 and then returns is like a roller coaster.
Flywayhalyosy

For those who love harmonies, Flyway is also highly recommended.
This song was written by halyosy for the music-game unit Leo/need.
On YouTube, there’s a version sung by Kagamine Len and KAITO.
The lyrics center on the theme of two friends wishing for each other’s happiness.
It’s a ballad meant to be listened to while thinking of someone important to you.
Another highlight is how beautiful the harmonies sound thanks to the contrasting timbres of the two voices.
