Compilation of Vocaloid songs with titles starting with 'Ra'

In this article, I’ll be introducing lots of Vocaloid songs whose titles start with “Ra.”

When it comes to songs starting with “Ra,” many of you might think of the hugely popular “Ransou Metsuretsu Girl.”

Other “Ra”-starting words commonly used in Vocaloid song titles include “Last,” “Liar,” and “Thunderclap.”

This time I’ve selected a wide range from famous hits to hidden gems, so as you read, count how many of the songs you had in mind made the list.

If you like Gothic-style works, be sure to check this out! Vocaloid producer SLAVE.

V-V-R’s “LaVI-Bavellabion” was released in April 2024.

It was created as the theme song for the adventure game “Witch Trial of the Magical Girl.” The majestic tone built on a band sound is striking, and the foot-stomping rhythm you can also see in the MV is addictive.

The enigmatic lyrics are said to be written in a language called “Fixmerge.” In the YouTube comments, SLAVE.

V-V-R themselves provide a brief explanation of its meaning.

Use that as a reference and try exploring the worldview of the lyrics!

If you want to take on a cool track, how about this one? Vivid BAD SQUAD’s “RAD DOGS” is a piece created by Hachioji-P and q*Left, who have been active since the early days of the Vocaloid scene.

It’s a tense, electric dance tune.

The vocal range isn’t that high, so it’s relatively easy for men to sing, but since there’s a rap part, clear articulation might be pretty important.

Make sure to practice well beforehand so your mouth and tongue can move smoothly.

Spectacular-P is a multi-talented Vocaloid producer who not only composes music but also creates his own illustrations and videos.

His debut work, “Lambency,” was posted on Nico Nico Douga in 2008.

His music, centered around piano sounds and imbued with a slightly melancholic atmosphere, is particularly captivating.

Although he stopped posting videos after “Thanks Giving Days,” he launched a YouTube channel in 2021.

Since then, he has been releasing both past works and new pieces from time to time, winning the hearts of Vocaloid fans.

Loveka? / Hiiragi Kirai feat. flower
Goblin Shark? Kirai Hiiragi

It’s a Vocaloid track with a dark vibe that lets you get tipsy on its mood, and the delightfully ringing horn section really sticks in your ears.

It’s by Kirai Hiiragi, also known for “Autophagy” and “Bocca della Verità,” and was released in 2020.

The jazz-style arrangement pairs perfectly with flower’s trilled vocals.

The more you listen, the more addictive it becomes.

The lyrics’ worldview, playing on the double meaning of “love” (ai/love) and “lovka” (a type of fish, the goblin shark), is also excellent.

It’s irresistibly sexy yet somehow innocent.

LAPLACE CHOCOLAT / Hatsune Miku
Laplace Chocolat Kai

This is a Valentine’s song sung by Hatsune Miku that blends a sweet, pop vibe with the ache of unrequited love.

Composed by Kai, a short version was released in February 2023, followed by a full version in 2024.

Using the concept of “Laplace’s demon,” proposed by a French mathematician, it expresses the frustrating feelings one has for someone they like.

Its cute sound and somewhat innocent vocals are also distinctive.

It’s a song we especially recommend during White Day season for anyone carrying feelings for someone special.

Last MagicRuno

Crafted by Runo, this piece blends a suspicious, enigmatic atmosphere with Chifuyu Hanakuma’s whispery vocals, making it feel like watching a scene from a story.

Released in February 2025, “Last Magic” shares the enchanting appeal of 2024’s “Crimson Invitation,” with its fantasy-and-mystery-driven style.

The arrangement, which deliberately shifts tempo several times, also leaves a strong impression.

What story does it tell? Please experience it for yourself!

An emotional rock piece whose translucent vocals and bittersweet lyrics resonate deeply.

Released by Kareki Kashiwagi in February 2025, it delicately captures the subtleties of the heart as it discovers the meaning of life and the faint memories of youth.

With its warm melody and breezy, refreshing tone, it gently wraps the listener in comfort.

It’s a song that gives a gentle push to those trying to overcome difficult times.
