It was a commissioned piece for the 1st anniversary project of Narukami Hime and Mikoto.
It’s fun how different timbres come at you from the right and left! The hook’s melody feels incredible too—you’ll find yourself keeping time with your body before you know it.

This work was born from Raison d’être, a project to create songs based on legendary creatures illustrated by Nou, an illustrator.
The track was composed by Kairiki Bear, the composer behind numerous hit songs such as “Darling Dance” and “Venom,” and was released in June 2023.
The theme is the familiar “werewolf” from board games, and the lyrics are filled with words that evoke that image.
The distorted chorus is particularly striking, sonically expressing a chaotic space of deception and being deceived.

Maiki-P, a former member of YouTuber Takeyaki Sho’s unit Ratrat and an artist active not only as a Vocaloid producer but also as a singer-songwriter and drummer, showcases his diverse talents.
His original track “Kingslayer,” released in 2023, features aggressive lyrics and an intense sound that makes for a refreshing, exhilarating listen.
