Their debut single Public Image and the album Metal Box received high praise from critics and are regarded as classics of post-punk.
Their 1980 U.

With their experimental sound and provocative performances, they have continued to influence many artists.
If you’re drawn to their distinctive world, this is a highly recommended track—give it a listen!
I am OneThe Smashing Pumpkins

Smashing Pumpkins are undeniably cool.
This song is an early masterpiece.
Their first album, which includes this track, bursts with a sense of speed, a magma-like heat coursing underneath, and James Iha’s guitar is insanely cool—just the epitome of cool.
White LiesStereophonics

Stereophonics are an alternative rock band from Wales.
Formed in 1992, they drew major attention as one of the defining British rock bands of the 2000s, achieving five consecutive UK No.

AbracadabraSteve Miller Band

It hit No.
1 in the U.
S.
in 1982.
It’s the title track from the album of the same name, whose cover illustration is striking.
The Steve Miller Band is a blues band, yet they had already scored two No.
1 hits with The Joker in 1973 and Rock’n Me in 1976.
It seems Steve Miller himself, though a bluesman, also has a knack for pop.
It’s well known that Boz Scaggs was once a member.
Suspect DeviceStiff Little Fingers

Formed in Northern Ireland in ’79, at the tail end of punk, this classic punk album delivers a ferocious punch with heavily distorted guitars and near-screamed vocals.
The Clash’s influence is obvious, but their songwriting stands out.
The band has since reunited and is still active.
I`m Going HomeTen Years After

A leading figure in British blues rock.
The name means “a band that will still be around ten years later.” It was essentially the one-man band of leader and guitarist Alvin Lee, and they broke through with a fiery performance at Woodstock in ’69.
While at times moving toward hard rock, they continued to work steadily.
In 2013, Lee passed away.
CentrefoldThe J. Geils Band

When they were formed in 1967 by leader J.
