Slaughter And The Dogs – Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone
Where Have All The Boot Boys GoneSlaughter & The Dogs

Hailing from Manchester.

The biting vocals and aggressive performance perfectly evoke the image of a punk mad dog.

Although they debuted during punk’s heyday, they never broke into the mainstream, yet this is a classic packed with the raw, nasty allure of wild rock ’n’ roll.

Jarvis Cocker was so cool, wasn’t he? In a way, I think he was the kind of guy who symbolized that whole Britpop era.

Stylish and cool, great fashion sense, but also a bit eccentric (lol).

His presence as a frontman was absolutely unmatched.

PoisonAlice Cooper

Alice Cooper, the American rock musician known as the “Godfather of Shock Rock.” In the 1970s, he was a pioneering figure in hard rock and heavy metal, captivating audiences with shocking onstage performances that used electric chairs, guillotines, and more.

He broke through with the 1970 single “I’m Eighteen,” and achieved commercial success with the 1973 album “Billion Dollar Babies.” His contributions have been highly acclaimed in the music world, including his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.

If you’re looking to savor a thrilling rush with horror movie–style shows and a heavy sound, he’s a perfect fit.

in 1985.

Rather than a band, it was more of a unit formed by Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor of Duran Duran.

It strongly felt like it was created to “counter?” the fact that John and Andy had formed The Power Station and gone their separate way first.

Because Simon Le Bon was the vocalist, I didn’t feel much difference from Duran Duran.

If anything, the sound was like subtracting the rock elements from Duran Duran.

Even so, it was, as expected, really cool.

Only Time Will TellASIA

It reached No.

17 on the US charts in 1982.

This was a supergroup formed by John Wetton (ex–King Crimson), Steve Howe (ex–Yes), Carl Palmer (ex–EL&P), and Geoff Downes (keyboards/ex–Yes).

This song is the second single from their second album, Alpha.

With progressive rock stars joining forces, people wondered what kind of music they would make, and they drew a lot of attention—but it turned out to be surprisingly conventional.

Their first Japan tour was even slated to be broadcast on TV, and just as expectations were high, John Wetton quit at the last minute! Greg Lake stepped in as his replacement.

They certainly kept everyone talking.

A blues band formed by Rod Piazza, a leading white harmonica player and top disciple of Black blues harpist George Smith.

This hidden gem lets you revel in deep, richly flavored blues, with master Smith himself joining in to deliver a commanding harmonica performance.

This was a supergroup formed by Neal Schon—Journey’s guitarist and an idol for guitar kids in the early ’80s—Jonathan Cain, the keyboardist who was the musical core of Journey, John Waite, formerly of The Babys and a solo artist who scored a U.

Unfortunately, Neal Schon left and the band disbanded almost immediately.

Neal and Jonathan went on to begin activities with a reborn Journey.

It was a super band that was destined to sell.
