Phantom Blue is an all-female metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1987.

With Marty Friedman as the producer, that album reached an even higher level of quality.
In the 1990s, their talent was recognized as they released “Built to Perform” on a major label.
However, they went on hiatus in 2001, and founder Michelle Meldrum passed away in 2008.
Even so, the band’s appeal has not faded; drummer Linda McDonald went on to form The Iron Maidens, and their influence continues today.
