A collection of Western songs with titles that start with numbers
In this article, I’ll be introducing classic Western songs whose titles begin with numbers.
When it comes to number-starting titles, some consist of numbers only, while others have words following the numbers.
If you’re knowledgeable about Western music, you might already have a few songs in mind.
That said, we don’t often search for songs by categories like “titles that start with XX,” so this could be a great chance to discover wonderful tracks you didn’t know before.

40/40Carpenters

This is a two-disc compilation album packed with the charm of the Carpenters, the American pop music group emblematic of the 1970s.
It features 40 tracks woven together by Karen Carpenter’s warm, heartfelt vocals and Richard Carpenter’s masterful arrangements.
Released in Japan in April 2009, it became a major hit, reaching No.
3 on the Oricon chart.
Timeless classics like “(They Long to Be) Close to You” and “Rainy Days and Mondays” gently sing of love, everyday joys, and, at times, tender heartache.
It’s an ideal pick for anyone seeking soothing melodies or looking for a welcoming introduction to Western pop music.

9 (After Coachella) feat. MØ & SOPHIE [KRANE Remix]Cashmere Cat
![9 (After Coachella) feat. MØ & SOPHIE [KRANE Remix]Cashmere Cat](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/-Y-Y3yr8HJ4/sddefault.jpg)
Cashmere Cat is a music producer from Norway.
He’s known as one of the country’s leading producers and has provided tracks for global artists like Kanye West, The Kid LAROI, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, and The Weeknd.
Among his works, a track I particularly recommend is “9 (After Coachella) feat.
MØ & SOPHIE [KRANE Remix].” The drop includes a high-pitched synth, so it might be hard to notice at first, but if you listen closely, you’ll hear that the low end hits hard.

Cashmere Cat is a trackmaker and male DJ from Halden, Norway, born in 1987.
He rose to fame with the release of Mirror Maru in 2012, and before becoming a trackmaker, he was also active as a hip-hop DJ.
He performed in Japan at Summer Sonic in 2016 and released his debut album in April 2017.
9 (After Coachella) is a track from his first album, featuring Danish singer MØ and SOPHIE.
3005Childish Gambino

Known for songs like ‘Redbone’ and ‘This Is America,’ Childish Gambino is a multi-talented artist who excels at everything from smooth, neo-soul-style vocals to skillful rap.
His tracks are all highly distinctive, often featuring surreal styles.
‘3005’ is also a very surreal piece, characterized by its unique flow.
Its bittersweet lyrics suit the autumn season, so be sure to check out the Japanese translation as well!
1, 2 Step ft. Missy ElliottCiara

A hit song by R&B’s princess—whose actual middle name is also Princess—Ciara, in collaboration with female rapper Missy Elliott.
Ciara’s whispery vocals paired with Missy’s powerful rap are cool.
Don’t miss the music video where the beautiful Ciara shows off dance moves that can rival any man’s.
4:00Cochise

The song released in September 2024 by Cochise, a rapper from the United States, is a track that fully showcases his distinctive style.
Set over a trap beat, his signature melodic flow and Auto-Tune-laced vocals leave a strong impression.
The lyrics boast success and a luxurious lifestyle, yet also reveal a sense of vigilance and self-protection beneath the surface, expressing a complex state of mind.
Reflecting Cochise’s musicality and personality, this work is recommended not only for his fans but also for anyone interested in today’s hip-hop scene.
It’s a perfect track for late-night drives or when you’re in the mood for something energetic.
7 DaysCraig David

If you like lively, lightweight R&B with a great groove, we recommend “7 Days.” The song is performed by Craig David, one of the UK’s leading R&B singers.
His R&B heavily reflects hip-hop elements, featuring smooth, rap-like vocal flows.
Those elements are plentiful in this track as well, giving it an irresistibly upbeat feel from start to finish.
Be sure to check it out.
