VampireBlutengel

Blutengel is an electric music group from Germany.
They specialize in gothic songs, and themes like “blood,” “death,” “immortality,” “vampires,” and “love” appear in most of their tracks.
Their sound is perfectly suited for Halloween.
Among their works, the one I especially recommend is Vampire.
As the title suggests, it’s themed around vampires, and its distinctive melody evokes the 1980s—reminiscent of Dead or Alive.

Visions of JohannaBob Dylan

How about taking your time on a long autumn night to carefully unravel some English song lyrics? Bob Dylan is a world-renowned artist who has even won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
It’s no exaggeration to say that his arrival changed the world.
His song “Visions of Johanna,” with its story-like structure, leaves you with the lingering afterglow of having read a short novel once you finish the lyrics.
Vete que te quieroBuika

Buika is a female singer whose talent is truly outstanding on the world stage.
She is an artist from Mallorca with roots in Equatorial Guinea, and she is known as a leading female singer of nuevo flamenco.
She has also performed as a flamenco cantaora and possesses an extraordinary vocal ability.
I have listened to music from over 80 countries, yet I have never encountered a female singer with greater vocal prowess than hers.
That is how remarkable her talent is.
Her musicality is also exceptional; she excels at a distinctive form of flamenco that blends complex jazz, Afro, soul, and reggae influences.
VenomBullet For My Valentine

Bullet For My Valentine, a heavy metal band formed in the UK in 1998, is also known by the abbreviations “BFMV” and “B4MV.” This song is the title track from their fifth album, released in 2015.
The music video was directed by Stuart Birchall.
Villain ArcBURY TOMORROW

An ambitious work that opens up a new frontier in metal has arrived from Bury Tomorrow.
Pushing heaviness to the extreme while skillfully weaving in melodic elements, this piece can truly be called a culmination of modern metal.
Released in May 2024, the track marks the beginning of a new chapter following last year’s The Seventh Sun.
It clearly reflects the band’s evolution after overcoming the pandemic and welcoming new members.
Its profound theme—confronting the darkness within and turning it into fuel for growth—is beautifully expressed through music that is both ferocious and delicate.
It’s a track that should appeal to a wide audience, from metal newcomers to seasoned listeners.
Violent StormCEMETERY SKYLINE

Cemetery Skyline, a Nordic supergroup bringing together members of DARK TRANQUILLITY, AMORPHIS, DIMMU BORGIR, SENTENCED, and INSOMNIUM, released “Violent Storm” in April 2024.
The track forges a unique style they call “Nordic Gothic,” blending elements of gothic rock, dark rock, and heavy metal.
Inspired by the desolate nighttime streets of Gothenburg, the song seems to be infused with solitude, despair, and a distinctly Nordic sense of beauty tinged with sorrow.
Poured through with the musical skills and sensibilities each member has honed, this work is sure to resonate with listeners through its heavyweight sound and emotional expressiveness.
Here’s hoping they continue to create new music in the future.
Vor Der SchlachtCORONATUS

It’s a band distinguished by its female twin vocals.
Although the two vocalists have different styles, they bring out the best in each other, and the harmonies are beautiful.
I especially like the intro of this song, which hints at a grand, unfolding story.
