All ye faithful, make haste

A famous Japanese Christmas song that sets the lyrics of “Hark, the glad sound! the Saviour comes” to the well-known “Joy to the World!” melody.
Originally, in the West, hymn tunes and texts were not necessarily fixed pairs; as long as the melody and syllable count matched, it was acceptable to sing a different text to a tune.
When the hymn came to Japan, the pairing was not the original one, and as a result a different text took root—making for a curious song.
At the same time, the lyrics have become quite familiar in Japan, haven’t they?

Christmas elf

It’s a cute song about Christmas elves helping Santa prepare Christmas presents.
To the rhythm of sleigh bells, a voice charmingly altered with a voice changer sings in a rhythmic style.
Christmas Oratorio

The Christmas Oratorio is a cantata composed by Bach.
A cantata is a vocal piece with accompaniment, allowing you to enjoy gentle accompaniment and majestic singing.
Because it is a series of connected works, the overall duration is long and it never gets boring.
Notice of Christmas Cancellation

This is a Vocaloid song with parody lyrics based on the classic “Jingle Bells.” The jokes might be a bit dark for children, but I think elementary school boys would probably laugh and enjoy it.
Funny Christmas songs feel rare.
Turkey in the straw

It’s a Christmas song sung to the melody of a classic folk tune, telling a story about chasing a runaway turkey.
The folk song is said to be based on the American folk tune “Oklahoma Mixer.” The lively rhythm is really fun.
In the feeding trough

This is also a Christmas hymn (a gospel song).
A manger is a container that holds feed for horses.
This song is about the newborn Christ sleeping in a manger.
Since Christ was born in a stable, there are many Christmas songs that sing about stables.
winter wonderlandFelix Bernard

This song has become a classic Christmas tune around the world.
Since it has been covered by many different artists, I believe there’s a version to suit every generation.
Its lively rhythm pairs perfectly with the Christmas atmosphere.
