Santa Claus Is Coming to TownLyrics: Nobuo Nitta / Music: J. Fred Coots

This is another classic Christmas song.
The original title is “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” The original title might actually be more famous.
Since the song is about Santa Claus bringing Christmas to town, listening to it is sure to heighten children’s anticipation for the holiday.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed ReindeerLyrics by: Nobuo Nitta / Music by: John D. Marks

Speaking of animals that are with Santa Claus, it’s the reindeer that pull his sleigh, right? The reindeer who was laughed at by everyone for having a red nose and cried goes on to shine at Christmas.
It will bring wonderful presents to everyone!
Santa Claus is coming

I think this is one of the Christmas songs you hear especially often, but in fact, not many people may know its title.
The title is “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” and the title appears just as it is in the lyrics.
Since the English version is also frequently heard, the Japanese title might not feel very familiar.
Still, it’s a poppy, approachable song, so please enjoy singing it with your children!
Santa Claus the ScatterbrainLyrics by Osamu Yoshioka / Music by Asei Kobayashi

It’s the classic children’s Christmas song, “Awatenbo no Santa Claus.” The Santa in this song gets things wrong—he mixes up the actual day of Christmas, and instead of quietly leaving presents, he makes a big noise just checking inside the house.
Nothing seems to go quite right for him.
But he stays positive and tries his best to make Christmas a fun day.
I think children can learn from this Santa the importance of not giving up even when you make mistakes.
It’s a famous song, so be sure to sing it together and have fun!
All ye faithful, make hasteLibera

“Morobito Kozorite” is cherished in Japan as a Christmas hymn.
In English-speaking countries, it is sung with the lyrics of “Joy to the World,” and has been covered by artists such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.
It’s a truly beautiful song that you can’t help but love after just one listen.
Hey, Santa Claus grandpaNEW!Lyrics by Tonbo Yuasa / Music by Hirotaka Nakagawa

It’s a fun song that asks, from a child’s unique perspective, what Santa Claus did when he was little.
With lyrics by Tombo Yuasa and music by Hirotaka Nakagawa, the song is included on the album “Tonbo-sensei no Wakuwaku Shūkai” and has long been loved in early childhood education settings.
Its appeal lies in the easy-to-sing melody and gentle wording, and the piano accompaniment is arranged simply.
The lyrics, filled with warmth and anticipation for Santa, perfectly capture how children feel as they look forward to Christmas.
It’s ideal for Christmas events at kindergartens and nurseries, as well as for family time at home.
Sing it together, and you’re sure to make even more happy Christmas memories.
Jingle BellsComposer/Lyricist: James Lord Pierpont
Japanese translated lyrics: Shoji Miyazawa

The classic Christmas song “Jingle Bells,” loved by children all around the world, is well known to everyone.
The tinkling sound of the bells hints at the joyful beginning of Christmas.
It may be the song children are most familiar with.
