The 12 Days of Christmas

“The Twelve Days of Christmas” doesn’t quite resonate in Japan, but in Christianity, people celebrate the twelve days from Christmas to Epiphany.
The song is like a counting rhyme of the dates, and once you learn it, it’s a fun and unique tune.
Be sure to give it a listen at Christmas!
At the end of the wilderness

This is a Christmas carol based on a traditional French carol.
I’m sure not many people know the title, but many have probably heard it somewhere at least once.
It’s a beautiful piece that suits the sacred holy night perfectly.
Forest ChristmasMasuda Hiroko

A gently paced Christmas song sung by the popular children’s duo Keropons.
It’s a delightful track with clear, friendly lyrics that spark kids’ imaginations.
A variety of unique animals appear one after another—what do they want, and what will Santa give them? Try singing along while thinking about it together with the children.
Wish Upon a Star

It’s a timeless classic loved around the world.
It’s the theme song from the Disney movie Pinocchio.
It’s also well known as a Christmas song.
Since it’s a tune every child has heard at least once, they’ll probably be delighted if you play it at Christmas.

Christmas is coming soon.Lyrics and Composition: Masanobu Mine

We decorate Christmas trees with all kinds of ornaments, don’t we? “Christmas Is Coming Soon” is a playful song that lets you experience decorating a tree.
You make a tree over your head, form numbers with your fingers, and use those fingers to represent ornaments—simple, but a lot of fun.
It’s also great to actually decorate while singing.
Coming up with original ornaments nurtures imagination, and figuring out how to represent them with your fingers helps develop thinking skills.
Be sure to enjoy it at Christmas!
Christmas all year round

“Christmas All Year Round” is a Japanese children’s song themed around Christmas.
It’s a “what if” song that wonders, “What if every day of the year were Christmas?” Children have rich imaginations, so they would likely have a lot of fun listening to this song.
Ding Dong Merrily on High (Ding Dong Takaraka ni)

It was originally a piece composed in France for dancing, but after English lyrics were added to the music, it was repurposed as a Christmas carol.
Since it started as a dance tune, it’s catchier than other Christmas carols, isn’t it? With this, even children could probably memorize the melody right away.
