Sunshine Christmas

Sunshine Christmas

“Sunshine Christmas” is a song about Santa taking a vacation on a southern island.

It was sung on NHK’s ‘Okaasan to Issho’ in 1992.

Santa sets off in his sleigh, but because he can’t control the speed, he ends up all the way in a tropical country.

There, he forgets about delivering presents, tosses off his clothes to splash in the water, plays with dolphins, and has a blast on the southern island.

The lyrics are very unique and fun, though kids might be thinking, “Don’t play around—hurry up and come!”

HAPPY SNOWYui Horie

HAPPY SNOW Horie Yui

This is a Christmas song released in 2007 by the hugely popular voice actress Yui Horie.

Although it’s a slightly more mature number, Yui Horie also voices Cure Magical, Riko Izayoi, in the anime Pretty Cure, which is well-known even among children.

So it’s likely a song that will especially resonate with girls.

In conclusion

Every year brings lots of new Christmas songs, but the familiar classics always create a warm holiday atmosphere no matter how much time passes! The songs picked here all have easy-to-understand, catchy melodies.

Use them as background music for Christmas parties at nursery schools or kindergartens, and all the kids will have fun together!
