Can You Feel ItMr Fingers

Trax Records, the legendary Chicago house label.
Among its catalog, this classic is especially popular.
Due to the label’s intentions, it has seen numerous reissues and digital releases, so the original has been overshadowed.
The first release was in 1986—before house music had spread across the world.
The intoxicating, bittersweet atmosphere that became a benchmark for deep house started with this track.
Kiss Kiss KissAnanda Project feat. Heather Johnson & Terrance Downs

Ananda Project, a house music project led by Chris Brann.
Even within dance music, he has left behind highly musical, high-quality works.
And this is the piece that’s especially popular in Japan.
While it may not have the same momentum it once did, I often saw it played during closing sets at Body & Soul, a festival specializing in house music.
It’s very catchy, yet has a calm vibe—quintessential deep house.
I Can Take ItTheo Parrish

He is a producer based in Detroit, USA.
While running his own label, Sound Signature, he continues to play gigs at underground clubs around the world.
This track was released on his label in 2001 and remains highly popular within deep house to this day.
It’s not exactly bright, but it has a very soothing feel when you listen to it.

17MK

This track was crafted by MK, a heavyweight in the American scene who fuses Detroit techno and house.
Its melody, where the bittersweet memories of youth intertwine with tender emotions, tightens the heart.
It brilliantly captures the pure sparkle of that sensitive age of seventeen and the nostalgia for days gone by, through expressive vocals and a sophisticated sound.
Released in September 2017, it topped the UK Official Dance Singles Chart.
Its high-quality groove, perfect for coloring the city night, also suits moments of solitary reflection.
The progression from a quiet intro to an emotionally explosive drop is superb and stirs the listener’s soul.
Summer 91Noizu

This is a work by Noise, a DJ from London now based in LA, created together with his wife, Annaka.
Beyond the nostalgic, 90s rave-inspired piano melody, the warm vocals that seem to cherish days gone by are equally striking.
Made during lockdown with a sense of “hope,” the track arrived in January 2021 and was named the “Hottest Record in the World” on BBC Radio 1.
Its sound—both nostalgic and forward-looking—will resonate deeply with anyone walking through the present with radiant summer memories in their heart.
Why not listen quietly on a night when you want to indulge in a slightly sentimental mood?
AskingSonny Fodera & MK feat. Clementine Douglas

It’s a track that channels an unstoppable swell of feelings, carried by a powerful beat that almost feels like a question.
It’s a collaboration between Australia’s Sonny Fodera, U.
S.
house heavyweight MK, and the UK’s formidable vocalist Clementine Douglas.
Clementine Douglas’s emotional vocals seem to convey a heartfelt plea to a lover and the frustrating longing for an answer.
Released in July 2023, the song drew major attention, reaching No.
7 on the UK Singles Chart.
It’s a sleek dance tune that would make your heart skip a beat if it came on in a lounge overlooking a glittering city nightscape.
Tears (Classic Vocal)Satoshi Tomiie

Satoshi Tomiie—born in Tokyo and based in New York—is a world-renowned DJ.
With a background in classical piano and a path that led him from jazz and funk to hip-hop and other forms of club music, he made his global debut in 1989 with the house classic “Tears.” The track, produced by house music legend Frankie Knuckles, who was quick to recognize Tomiie’s talent, features Robert Owens—active as both a DJ and producer—as its vocalist.
Its outstanding quality remains undiminished even today.
The refined production and Robert’s beautiful vocals strike a perfect balance, making it a must-hear not only for house music fans but for anyone interested in great music.
