AQUA is a bubblegum dance group from Copenhagen, Denmark, formed in 1994.

They released their debut single, “Roses Are Red” (Tokimeki Dandy Dadida), in 1996, which reached No.

1 on the Danish singles chart.

They released their first album, Aquarium, in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000.

Although they disbanded in 2001, they reunited in 2007 and went on to release a Greatest Hits album in 2009 and the album Megalomania in 2011.

Their representative songs include the 1997 releases “My Oh My,” “Barbie Girl,” “Doctor Jones,” “Roses Are Red,” and “Turn Back Time,” as well as “Cartoon Heroes” from 2000.

Their music has also been used as the theme song for the Japanese late-night TV show Tsurube Kamioka PAPEPO TV and in commercials for Kirin Beverage’s Namacha tea.
