[Karaoke] A Roundup of Easy-to-Sing Songs for Women! (121–130)
vip?Natsuko Nisshoku

Nisshoku Natsuko is known as a singer-songwriter who accompanies herself on piano.
Her lyrics feel as if they were cut from everyday life, yet her melodies create a world with a touch of Studio Ghibli-like fantasy—that’s part of her charm.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is “vip?”.
It’s a very ennui-tinged piece with a fairly narrow vocal range; while there are many sustained notes, the pitch movement itself is gentle.
It’s basically an easy song, but the bridge (C section) ramps up the voltage a bit, so be sure to identify the right key for you.
Song of SpringSakura Fujiwara

Sakura Fujiwara is a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity with a country-inspired sound.
Active since the 2010s, she has produced several hit numbers.
Among her songs, the one especially recommended for women with lower voices is Haru no Uta (Spring Song).
It’s frequently used on platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts, so many people may find it familiar.
The chorus has a calm feel, and the A-melody through the B-melody sits mostly in the low to low-mid range, making it relatively easy for women to sing.
threadMiyuki Nakajima

Released in February 1998, this is Miyuki Nakajima’s 35th single, issued as a double A-side with the song “Inochi no Betsumei” (“Another Name for Life”).
Now then, this song has practically become a karaoke staple at wedding after-parties and the like.
It doesn’t require a particularly wide vocal range, and rhythmically it’s very easy to sing, so it’s a handy one to have memorized.
If you understand the lyrics well and sing while cherishing each word, it will surely come across nicely to listeners.
To the futureKiroro

A signature song by Kiroro that sings of deep love and gratitude to a mother, carried by a gentle melody.
The two Okinawa-born artists weave clear, pure vocals and a warm message that resonate in the heart, creating a gem of a ballad.
Since its release in June 1998, it has been widely cherished at junior high and high school choir competitions and as a song of thanks to parents at weddings.
With its relaxed tempo and relatively narrow vocal range, it’s easy to sing even at karaoke.
It’s a perfect piece for singing with heartfelt feelings for your precious family.

Cinematic RomanceWater floating fern

Mizuniukikusa is a band that’s gained popularity for its nostalgic style.
Their music features dreamy melodies with a distinctly Japanese feel, and their unparalleled sound has earned them a strong following among die-hard band enthusiasts.
Among their songs, my top recommendation is Cinematic Romance.
Rooted in Showa-era pop, it frequently features smooth mid-to-low vocal parts that are especially friendly for lower-voiced female singers.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
NOT NATURALSatomi Shigemori

Satomi Shigemori, a TV personality, has been actively releasing hip-hop tracks since the late 2010s and has recently been earning a fair amount of props as an artist.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is NOT NATURAL.
Its spoken-style rap and catchy hook leave a standout impression.
Despite its strong impact, the vocals and rap themselves are very easy, so give it a try.
Cutie HoneyKumi Koda

This track is included on Kumi Koda’s 11th maxi single, LOVE & HONEY, released in May 2004.
It’s a cover of the theme song from the TV anime Cutie Honey, which aired in the 1970s and became a huge hit, and it also serves as the theme song for the live-action film adaptation in which Koda herself makes a cameo appearance.
After just one listen, you’ll likely notice that the song doesn’t require a wide vocal range to sing at karaoke.
Don’t overthink it—just get into the rhythm, sing out, and enjoy yourself!
