[For Women] Easy-to-Sing, Crowd-Pleasing Karaoke Songs (41–50)
Blooming at nightHoshimachi Suisei

As of June 2025, the average score on JOYSOUND’s karaoke scoring system seems to be around 90.
35, which gives the impression that the average is relatively high.
Indeed, among Hoshimachi Suisei’s songs, this one doesn’t require a particularly high vocal range and stays mostly in the mid-range, so I think it’s easier to keep pitch compared to other songs.
Also, the rhythm is very straightforward, so once you memorize it, it should be easy to sing! If you keep a steady 4/4 beat while singing, your timing will line up and it’ll be more fun to perform.
Once you feel more comfortable, you might want to try adding techniques like vibrato.
Definitely give it a try!
medicineYuika

Singer-songwriter Yuika, who enjoys outstanding popularity on TikTok.
With her quintessentially cute vocal tone and catchy musical style, she has a huge following among teenage girls.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is Okusuri.
It may seem like there’s a lot of falsetto, but she’s mostly forcing falsetto in parts that could be sung in chest voice, so the overall range isn’t actually wide.
Since there are no long sustained notes, as long as you can take breaths properly during the rests, anyone can sing it without trouble.
It’s also easy to sing because the arrangement doesn’t require vibrato.
snakeYorushika

Yorushika’s new song “Hebi” (Snake).
Speaking of Yorushika, they’re known for their wide musical range, and their subdued, ennui-tinged tracks are especially popular.
This piece is one of those: the tempo is relaxed throughout.
The vocal line moves gently in pitch, without sections that switch back and forth between falsetto and chest voice.
Among recent popular songs, it’s particularly easy to sing, so consider adding it to your repertoire.
I love youuu!HoneyWorks feat. Chuutan

When it comes to character songs sung by Chu-tan, a character from HoneyWorks’ wildly popular creator unit project “Confession Executive Committee,” many people might think of “Kawaikute Gomen,” which exploded in popularity and became a meme.
But “Sukicchu no!” is also a beloved track by Chu-tan.
Like “Kawaikute Gomen,” it’s performed by voice actress Saori Hayami, and while it’s a cute pop song, its lyrics weave in the serious side of the social media era, offering a deeper exploration of Chu-tan’s character—something that leaves a strong impression.
The irresistibly catchy chorus is perfect for social media and guaranteed to hype up a karaoke session, and the melody line is very singable.
Still, be sure to sing it while empathizing with the protagonist’s feelings.
Strong Wind Slicked-Back (feat. Kaai Yuki)Yukopi

Despite being a 2023 release, this character—a grade-school girl with a randoseru backpack playing a recorder—still pops up frequently as an internet meme on social media.
Yukopi’s 2023 track “Strong Wind All Back” became hugely popular for its lyrics that single-mindedly sing about how windy it is, its comically limp-sounding recorder, a video packed with surreal gags, and spot-on animation that even features the Vocaloid character Kaai Yuki.
It also spawned many parody videos.
The melody doesn’t demand any particularly tricky vocal runs, and the song includes handclap sections at just the right moments, so doing it together at karaoke with everyone clapping along will make it even more exciting!
Transparent sheet musicNo Murasaki

Noshiki is a female singer-songwriter known for her unique, laugh-inducing compositions.
Her track “Transparent Score,” however, departs from her usual musical style, featuring a serious and dreamlike melody.
A falsetto appears near the end of the chorus, but that’s more in line with current trends; in reality, the pitch is well within chest-voice range, so you shouldn’t struggle with the high notes.
The overall range isn’t very wide, so consider adding it to your repertoire.
In Love with the MirrorPraise

Reisan is a band fronted by Saaya from the comedy duo Lalande.
Their slightly downtempo sound, which incorporates a touch of Black music while staying on trend, has become popular, and although the band is still relatively new, they’ve already churned out multiple hit songs.
Among their tracks, the one I particularly recommend is their new single, “Kagami ni Koishite” (In Love with the Mirror).
While hints of Black music peek through at key moments, the song is fundamentally based on orthodox J-pop, so the vocal line itself is simple.
There aren’t many drastic pitch jumps, so anyone with a basic level of vocal technique should be able to sing it without much difficulty.
