Karaoke songs that are easy to sing, even for those who aren’t confident at singing, recommended for teenage girls
Recently, with the rise of high-voiced male vocalists, it’s become an even tougher world for tone-deaf women when it comes to singing.
In particular, women who can’t hit high notes are probably having quite a hard time.
Of course, vocal range matters, but even more important is whether you’re choosing the right key for yourself.
With that technical point in mind, this time I’ve selected easy-to-sing songs I’d recommend for teenage girls.

Last sceneGLIM SPANKY

With the recent revival boom, the musical styles of the 1970s through the 1990s have been drawing attention.
“Last Scene” by the rock duo GLIM SPANKY is a perfect fit for this revival trend, featuring a delicate sound that evokes the rock scene of the 1990s.
Although some parts sit slightly high in the vocal range, the rhythm is easy to follow, so it should be fairly singable for anyone who can hit moderately high notes.
Unfit to be a loverKoresawa

This is Koresawa’s fourth digital-only single, released in June 2019.
It was apparently produced as an answer song to her second digital-only single, “Tabako.” The vocal melody doesn’t cover a very wide range and is easy to hum along to, and combined with Koresawa’s approachable vocal tone, I think even people who aren’t confident singers can perform this song without much hesitation.
Rather than belting it out, singing it as if you’re speaking to someone is the key to making it sound just right!
You don’t have to put on a brave face until dawn.Nogizaka46

This is the 24th single by the female idol group Nogizaka46, released in September 2019.
Rather than a relentlessly cheerful idol song, its charm lies in a melody that carries a touch of wistfulness.
Still, as an idol song, you don’t need any special vocal skills to sing it at karaoke! It’s an easy-to-hum, approachable tune, so get your friends together and have fun singing it.
Its upbeat, catchy tempo also makes it a great pick for those who aren’t confident singers.

lamplightYuga

Yuga is a female singer-songwriter known for her fantastical musicality and striking vocals.
She has been active since 2011, but has been attracting even more attention recently.
The song that sparked this surge is Tomoshibi.
It gained popularity as the theme song for the drama My Wife Is a Little Girl, and its languid, moody atmosphere is particularly memorable.
It might seem a bit high, but if you adjust the key to suit your voice, anyone should be able to sing it without any trouble.
Black sheepKeyakizaka46

This is the eighth single by the female idol group Keyakizaka46, released in February 2019.
In addition to Yurina Hirate, who served as center for the eighth consecutive time, I think another reason is the relatively low vocal range: there aren’t many high notes throughout the song.
That makes it a great choice for people who aren’t confident singers.
There’s a part in the middle that’s sung a bit like rap, so be careful not to lose the rhythm there!
I am in love with you now.Kana Adachi

Singer-songwriter Kana Adachi, whose songs overflowing with uplifting feelings have garnered popularity especially among teens.
Her 2018 release “Watashi Ima Anata ni Koi wo Shiteimasu” (“I’m in Love with You Right Now”) is a track I particularly want people who aren’t confident in singing to try.
Its simple sound, built around acoustic guitar and piano, leaves a strong impression.
Many listeners will relate to the lyrics depicting a pure view of love.
The key is to mark the melody in time with the slow tempo.
It’s an easy-to-sing love song even for those who aren’t confident in controlling their range or projecting their voice.
guidelinesUru

Uru is a female singer-songwriter known for her strikingly clear voice.
If you’re a teenage girl, chances are you already know her.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend as easy to sing is Kokoroe.
Her beautifully pure voice is as captivating as ever, but the song actually doesn’t have a wide vocal range.
As long as you adjust it to your own key, it’s within a range that anyone can sing—so be sure to check it out.
