Karaoke songs that are easy to sing, even for those who aren’t confident at singing, recommended for teenage girls

Recently, with the rise of high-voiced male vocalists, it’s become an even tougher world for tone-deaf women when it comes to singing.

In particular, women who can’t hit high notes are probably having quite a hard time.

Of course, vocal range matters, but even more important is whether you’re choosing the right key for yourself.

With that technical point in mind, this time I’ve selected easy-to-sing songs I’d recommend for teenage girls.

Rejuvenation (feat. Hikari Mitsushima) - Queen Bee

Queen Bee is a band highly acclaimed for their distinctive musicality and unique vocals.

The vocalist Avu-chan’s singing carries a singular atmosphere, and every time they present a stunning, immersive world.

Among Queen Bee’s songs, the one I especially recommend is Rejuvenation (feat.

Hikari Mitsushima).

Although it features the actress Hikari Mitsushima, the song is arranged so it can be sung perfectly well by a solo performer.

The vocal range is also relatively narrow, so it should be easy for teenage girls to sing.

Yurina Kawaguchi is an artist who’s also active as a TV personality and fashion model.

Despite her neat, innocent look, she carries a certain allure, making her something of a fashion icon for teenage girls.

Among her songs, the one I particularly recommend is Hanataba (Bouquet).

The melody has the feel of an orthodox J-pop ballad.

The vocal line is straightforward and the range isn’t very wide, so I think it’s very easy to sing.

jewelLila Ikuta

The song “Hoseki” included on the 1st album “Sketch.” Its lyrics, which evoke a new departure, together with the lyrical ensemble, create a sentimental yet positive atmosphere.

The finely rising and falling melody is tricky and easy to go off pitch, but since the range isn’t wide and there aren’t any large interval leaps, it’s a good one to try at karaoke if you sing it calmly.

If you’re comfortable with the singing itself, be mindful of dynamics as well—this is an emotional number.

Prince ShōtokuWednesday Campanella

A digital single released exclusively for streaming by Wednesday Campanella in October 2023.

It’s crafted as a medium-tempo track that simply makes you feel happy just by listening! The vocal melody doesn’t span a very wide range, so I think anyone can sing it comfortably.

Since it’s such a catchy and fun song, just be sure to lock in with the rhythm of the backing track when you sing.

Little Red Riding HoodWednesday Campanella

Wednesday Campanella is a musical unit that has earned high praise from hardcore aficionados for its high-sense track-making.

Even after Utaha replaced the previous vocalist, they’ve continued to gain popularity with the same stylish and unique house sound.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Akazukin (Little Red Riding Hood).

There’s a rap section, but there’s no flow at all; it’s delivered in a conversational tone.

The chorus is kept in the mid-range, so I think it’s very easy for teenage girls to sing.

Summertime Cinderella Ryokuoushoku Shakai

This is Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s seventh single overall, released in September 2023.

It was pre-released digitally in July of the same year and was chosen as the theme song for Fuji TV’s Monday 9 p.

m.

drama “Midsummer Cinderella.” It’s a medium-to up-tempo track with a very refreshing vibe! Vocalist Haruko Nagaya delivers a superb performance, deftly switching between chest voice and falsetto—especially in the chorus—but the vocal melody itself isn’t particularly complex, so I think it’s quite singable for the general public to pick casually at karaoke.

The song is striking for vocals that convey a broad, flowing phrasing over a slightly up-tempo backing track, so be careful not to let your singing rush along with the track.

It’s best to sing with an understanding of the larger phrasing of each line, so be sure to listen closely to the original and prepare in advance.

Dream Ami / I Want to See You Soon
I can’t wait to see you, Dream Ami

It was released in 2017 as Dream Ami’s fourth single.

Chosen as the theme song for Hirunaka no Ryuusei (Daytime Shooting Star), the lyrics overflow with feelings of thinking about the boy she loves and how much she loves him.

Ami’s clear, transparent voice makes it a very pleasant song to listen to.
