Vocaloid producer Utata-P, known for popularizing his original genre “Mikutrance” among listeners.
In 2012, he created this track: “I Found a Way to Be Happy Forever.” Its unique lyrics themed around a “ritual” became a hot topic and drew a strong response from Vocaloid listeners at the time.
The dynamic, evolving electronic sound is also a highlight.

It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Shu, released in January 2023.
Created to coincide with Megurine Luka’s birthday celebration.
Luka’s bold, resonant vocals match perfectly with the fast-paced band sound.
You’ll be struck by an energizing clarity, as if your field of vision suddenly opens up.
The lyrics—“No matter how far apart we are, the two of us will chase our dream together”—are encouraging; it’s a Vocaloid song that gives you the strength to face tomorrow.

Released by Barbapapa in February 2025, this work centers on the theme of lending and borrowing video games.
It’s built on the anger of a situation where a lent game never comes back, the save data gets erased and the game gets sold, and you can no longer contact the person.
It’s one of those classic Heisei-era scenarios that makes you squint with recognition.
The music video evokes SFC’s Super Donkey Kong, and the addictive sound is fantastic too! It’s a Zundamon song you’ll be looping for sure.

Released in August 2010, this work by sasakure.
UK features lyrics inspired by Atsushi Nakajima’s “The Moon over the Mountain,” leaving a lasting impression.
Its worldview, which reinterprets human inner conflict in a modern light, resonated with many listeners.
It was also included on the 2012 album “Genshitsu Aesop,” and has continued to be cherished over the years.

DECO*27, a leading figure in the Vocaloid scene with numerous signature songs, released “Volteccer” in 2023 as an original track for the Pokémon feat.
Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE collaboration.
Opening with sound inspired by Pokémon battle BGM, the track unfolds with a driving, high-speed dance beat.
The lyrics, themed around Pikachu’s moves, also convey the world of the work.
