RequiemKanaria

[Hatsune Miku] Requiem [Kanaria]
Requiem Kanaria

The cool sound and melody line are irresistible! Composed by bKaroP, Kanaria—who has produced numerous hits like “KING”—and released in April 2023.

Its sleek, razor-sharp, minimalist soundscape pulls you right in.

Maybe because of the fast tempo, you can’t help but nod along vertically.

Be sure to also check out the versions sung by Suisei Hoshimachi, a Hololive VTuber active as a singer, and by Kanaria themselves!

ParadichlorobenzeneOwata-P

[official] Paradichlorobenzene feat. Owata-P (Kagamine Len, Kagamine Rin)
Paradichlorobenzene Owata P

The melancholic melody is wonderful, and the lyrics have a great sound to them, so listening makes me want to sing along.

There’s a sequel song called “Antichlorobenzene,” and since its melody and lyrics are related to this one, it’s also interesting to analyze them together from various angles.

Morning Star GalacticaNayutan Alien

Nayutan Seijin – Myojo Galactica (ft. Hatsune Miku) OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO
Myojo Galactica Nayutan Alien

While evoking a retro feel, it’s a track with a clean, modern sound that even feels new.

The lyrics frequently evoke images of outer space, combining a sense of familiarity with grandeur.

It was released on February 20, 2018.

Hatsune Miku was used as the VOCALOID.

Zamzaparticles (te-ni-wo-ha)

Zamza / Teniwoha feat. Hatsune Miku
Zamuza teniwoha

This is a newly written piece for the unit “25-ji, Nightcord de.” from Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! feat.

Hatsune Miku.

Composed by the Vocaloid producer Teniwoha, also known for creating “Villain,” it was released in April 2023.

Its appeal lies in a rhythmic yet shadowy sound arrangement.

The lyrics, themed around “pain,” are somewhat eerie and somewhat heartrending.

The title “Zamza” refers to the name of the protagonist in the world-famous novel The Metamorphosis.

So if you read the novel, you’ll gain an even deeper understanding of the song.

Lag TrainInabakumori

Inabakumori 'Lagtrain' Vo. Kaai Yuki
Rag Train Inabakumori

It’s a four-on-the-floor rock number, but unlike dance rock, it carries a peculiar sense of melancholy.

The song is by Vocaloid producer Inabakumori, who made a name with the hit “Pascal Beats,” and it was released in 2020.

The train-themed lyrics create a deeply nostalgic atmosphere, and the sound arrangement—rich in reverb and delay—evokes a vivid sense of spatial expansion.

Be sure to enjoy the PV as well, which features animation by Nukunuku Nigirimeshi.

Double LariatAgoaniki-P

[Megurine Luka] Double Lariat [HD]
Double Lariat (Ago Aniki P)

A masterpiece where the scenery you glimpse changes just a little each time you listen.

Back then I thought this, but now I feel that—as the years go by, the images you get from the lyrics evolve.

Many Vocaloid fans would name this song when they think of Megurine Luka.

Elegy for an Absolute Old FriendRo2noki

Absolute Old-Friend Elegy / Kasane Teto & Yokune Ruko (♀)
Absolute Old Friend Elegy Ro2noki

An emotional track with an irresistible interplay between two voices and a bittersweet melody.

It portrays the lingering feelings and helplessness toward a dear friend who’s gone.

While looking back on an irretrievable past, there’s an impossible-to-shake wish to meet again somewhere… These complex emotions are carried by a nostalgic band sound.

The song is a work by Vocaloid producer Ro2noki, released in August 2025.

I think it’s a Vocaloid track that perfectly fits a sentimental mood.
