Graveniki

A hard rock number with a wall of intense sound closing in on you.
It’s a track by niki, also known for “WAVE” and “ELECT,” released in 2017.
Serving as the theme song for Gustav Heiderich from the game “#Compass: Combat Providence Analysis System,” it’s incredibly emotional.
The sound arrangement is both grand and catchy—just what you’d expect.
It’s highly recommended both as a character song and as a fiery Vocaloid track.
I wonder what the future will be like.Mitchie M

“What Will the Future Be Like,” produced in 2023 by Vocaloid producer Mitchie M—who has created numerous tracks for video games and commercials—is a song themed around past entries in the Pokémon series, incorporating sounds that sample in-game BGM and sound effects.
It portrays a forward-looking spirit moving toward the future, matching the game’s journey of continuing to travel while meeting many monsters.
This warm, electronica track conveys the friendships between the many Pokémon and their trainers as they appear one after another.
GibyuritaVell

The song Gibyurita, produced by Vell, has lyrics whose line endings become surprisingly addictive.
Its repeating melody is highly catchy, so once you hear it, it’s sure to stick in your head.
The lyrics depict a protagonist who can get anything they want with money and does whatever they please.
They also quickly lose interest when things don’t go their way.
Yet there’s an air of something unresolved within them, making you want to dig a little deeper into what this protagonist is really thinking.

Catchy !?r-906

It’s a highly sophisticated piece that gives the impression of “refined music.” The track is by r-906, a well-known Vocaloid producer famous for the hit “Manimani,” and it was released in March 2023.
It was submitted to VocaColle Spring 2023 and ranked 6th in the TOP 100.
The drum’n’bass sound with a pared-down palette of tones is almost too stylish.
It’s crafted so well your body starts keeping time on its own.
It really reaffirms how well slapped bass pairs with a four-on-the-floor beat.
The vocal work, tuned to make the Japanese lyrics sound like English, is also outstanding.
X.E.N.Osasakure.UK

A wave of futuristic sound rushes in that makes you feel you’ve “encountered a new kind of music.” X.
E.
N.
O, produced by sasakure.
UK, who has long been at the forefront of the Vocaloid scene, was released in October 2023 as an entry for the 2nd ultra-high-difficulty track contest, “Project Sekai ULTIMATE.” With vocals not composed in any human-understandable language and dizzyingly unpredictable song development, “extraordinary” is the perfect word.
It’s a work that lets you fully savor sasakure.
UK’s taste and musicality.
tsuzumigusaIyowa

Sanrio’s character project “Maimai Maigoen.” “Tsuzumigusa” is themed around one of its characters, the Lion.
It portrays the Lion’s determination to protect someone precious to him, as well as the inner conflict that arises from it.
If you know the story of the work, you’ll be able to relate even more.
By the way, the title “Tsuzumigusa” is another name for the dandelion.
Keeping that in mind as you listen might lead to all kinds of discoveries.
Notoriousparticles (te-ni-wo-ha)

This is a song related to “Maimai Maigoen,” a mixed-media project spanning games, manga, and more.
Composed by the Vocaloid producer Teniwoha—also known for the massive hit “Villain”—it was released in March 2023.
The track was created with Aki, a character from “Maimai Maigoen,” as its theme.
She often acts with an artistic flair, but… I can’t say too much.
If you know the story, just reading the lyrics might hit you hard.
It’s a chilling Vocaloid track that draws you in with its stylish yet sickly, deranged atmosphere.
