Because she frequently collaborates with reggae deejays and singjays, she’s often mistaken for a reggae singer, but she has stayed true to R&B since the beginning of her career and is highly regarded in both the R&B and reggae scenes.
One of her signature songs, Don’t text me, was released in the summer of 2020 and features a tropical sound that evokes the season.
You can sense a reggae flavor in the way the track is put together.
Dramatic RainKOPO
A danceable city pop song that sings, “Even in an unchanging, boring everyday life, as long as you’re there, that’s enough.” It’s a track by Vocaloid producer KOPO, released in 2021.
Centered on a funky bassline, it unfolds a stylish sound—and within that lively sonic landscape, you can feel a touch of wistfulness, making it a wonderfully deep piece.

This is the song that was used as the ending theme for the anime Magical Girl Squad Alice, which aired within NHK Educational’s Tensai Bit-kun.
The singer is KOTOKO, who was also active as a vocalist for I’ve, a creator team that produces music for anime, games, and films.
Her charming, youthful-sounding voice is striking, isn’t it? While the overall feel of the track isn’t scary or eerie like Halloween, the lyrics—centered on the theme of a magical girl—leave a strong impression.

A cool guitar sound becomes the shot in the arm you need to charge forward! This is a song by L’Arc~en~Ciel, a rock band that has been at the forefront of the Japanese music scene for years, released in 1999 as their 17th single.
It was used as the opening theme for the anime GTO.
The driving tempo, the grand scale of the lyrics, and hyde’s sultry vocals—every aspect is captivating.

Zhang Yixing, known as Lay, is a dancer, singer-songwriter, and actor born in 1991 in Changsha, Hunan Province.
