Like a sun that never sets, its refreshing melody lifts the listener’s spirits.

Since its 1977 release, the secret to its enduring global appeal lies in its upbeat lyrics—sweeping away gloomy moods and heralding a new day—paired with irresistibly catchy sounds.

Especially when you listen to it in the spring sunshine, you can feel a full-body sense of renewal.

The percussive sound created by Bev Bevan striking a fire extinguisher further accentuates the song’s charm.

Featured in films like Megamind and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

2, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics, it’s a perfect track for spring!
