plazmaKenshi Yonezu

As the theme song for ‘Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-‘, it’s a track where the synthetic machine-like sounds really stand out! Kenshi Yonezu handled everything himself—lyrics, composition, arrangement, production, and even the artwork—making it one of his most dedicated works of 2025.
The vocal range is C3 to C5, which I think is a comfortable height for men to sing mainly in chest voice without strain.
There are falsetto parts here and there, but they’re used in those signature “this is the moment!” spots typical of Yonezu, so make sure to align precisely with the pitch bar.
For the fast sections, avoid mumbling and pronounce the vowels clearly.
Also be careful not to over-enunciate.
Approach it like a tongue twister: articulate the initial consonants cleanly and focus on locking in with the rhythm.
freesiaMarcy

Marcy is a band that’s gaining popularity for its warm, gentle vocals.
They’ve been on a remarkable rise recently, especially winning huge support from men and women in their teens to early twenties.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Freesia.
The vocal line is fundamentally orthodox and relaxed, making it a very singable track.
However, be aware that the chorus features falsetto several times.
That said, with key adjustments, these parts can be sung in chest voice without any trouble, so they aren’t real stumbling blocks.
Rather than focusing on the falsetto itself, I recommend paying attention to the pitch jumps between high and low notes when you sing.
Riding the sound so hard it hurtsSuganoya Ayaka

A newcomer artist whose breathy vocals and catchy sound are rapidly gaining momentum, Yua Sugaya.
He already has a few hit tunes under his belt, but the one I especially recommend is “Ride the Sound Till It Hurts.” It’s a bright, upbeat track, yet surprisingly the vocal line’s pitch movement is gentle, and the long tones aren’t all that long.
If you track the pitch accurately, it’s a song where you can easily aim for a perfect score.
SLEEPLESSSuspended 4th

Suspended 4th, affectionately known as “Sas-fo,” is a band beloved by many rock enthusiasts.
If you’re a hardcore rock fan, you’ve probably heard their songs at least once.
Among their tracks, the one I especially recommend is “SLEEPLESS.” Although the chorus features falsetto, the vocal line itself is smooth, so the pitch is exceptionally easy to match compared to their other songs.
Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
When the cherry blossoms bloomRyota Fujimaki

Ryota Fujimaki, known as the vocalist of Remioromen, is now also actively working as a solo artist and has produced several notable songs.
Among his tracks, the one I especially recommend is Sakura no Hana ga Saku Koro (When the Cherry Blossoms Bloom).
Perhaps because his musical style hasn’t changed, this piece has a classic J-pop finish.
The vocal range is about average, and since there are no sudden pitch jumps or advanced techniques required, it’s definitely a song where it’s easy to aim for a perfect score.
JingleYuma

Yuma, who is active as the “good singer” of the YouTuber group Comdot, has a track called Jingle that my students often sang when their throats weren’t in great shape because it’s “easy to sing,” so I think it’s in a range that’s easy for others too.
Jingle’s vocal range is B2 to D#4, staying mostly in the low to mid range.
Of course, it builds from verse A to verse B to the chorus, but unlike other songs, the range doesn’t change much, so it might be easier to keep pitch.
It’s a perfect song for winter, so start practicing it now!

FUNKY MUSIC!!Dannie May

Dannie May is a three-member vocal unit popular among young people.
While many recent vocal units tend to favor a K-pop-leaning, stylish sound, they primarily focus on orthodox J-pop.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is FUNKY MUSIC!!.
There’s a falsetto part in the middle, but otherwise the range stays in the mid register and the vocal line doesn’t fluctuate much, making it a song where a perfect score is well within reach.
