SHUJINKOWhale at Night in the City

Kujira Yoru no Machi is a four-piece rock band that has gained popularity for its fantastical lyrics and worldview.
They are a lyrical band that consistently releases works whose musicality draws listeners into their world.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is SHUJINKO.
It’s a track that conveys both intensity and exhilaration, yet the vocal range isn’t very wide.
Although there are shouts, it doesn’t feature complex vocal techniques like fakes, hiccups, or falls, making it an ideal song to aim for a perfect score.
So, I got sunburned.Mao Sasagawa

Singer-songwriter Mao Sasagawa, recognized even by Tatsuya Kitani, originally worked as a Vocaloid producer under the name mao sasagawa and is known for exceptional composition skills.
Among Sasagawa’s songs, the one I especially recommend is “Therefore, It’s Scorched.” While distinctive, it has a very narrow vocal range and gentle melodic contour, making it perfect for aiming for a 100-point score.
Lights Off (feat. Natori)TAKU INOUE

Music producer Taku Inoue, known for crafting many classic tracks with his stylish musicality, has collaborated with numerous artists to date.
In “Lights Off (feat.
natori),” he teams up with natori, who enjoys overwhelming support from teens.
Because falsetto appears, you might think the vocal range is wide, but he’s simply singing in falsetto at a pitch that could also be handled in chest voice, so in reality the song doesn’t require an especially wide range.
Wonder WorldRhythmic Toy World

Rhythmic Toy World is an alternative rock band that has been active since the 2010s.
Rather than sharp-edged alternative rock, their music incorporates many J-pop elements, making their songs generally easy to sing.
Among their works, the one I especially recommend is Wonder World.
Although there are a few falsetto parts, the rest of the song has a narrow vocal range, so as long as you control your pitch, it’s a track where you can realistically aim for a perfect score.
Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
POISON ~ A world where you can't even say what you want to sayTakashi Sorimachi

This was actor Takashi Sorimachi’s fourth single, released in July 1998.
It was chosen as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama GTO, in which Sorimachi himself starred.
With a medium-to-up tempo that’s easy for anyone to sing and groove to, the vocal melody doesn’t span a wide range, and the tune is very easy to remember and sing.
It’s no exaggeration to say this is a must-pick when you want to aim for a high score at karaoke.
It might also be fun to get together with friends and compete on scores using just this one song.
Try placing the sound toward your lower jaw as you sing and make good use of your chest voice—you’ll likely get an even better vocal tone, so give it a try.

day by dayKANA-BOON

KANA-BOON is a rock band that has been active on the Japanese rock scene for many years.
While they specialize in pop-leaning songs, their work is infused with a humorous worldview, and their distinctive, original style consistently earns them popularity.
Among KANA-BOON’s songs, a particular recommendation is Hibi (Days).
It’s a piece marked by a slightly bluesy performance, with a calm vocal line that remains relatively even throughout.
Since it can be sung without using falsetto, it’s recommended for those who want to aim for a perfect score without resorting to head voice.
lifeline extensionEvening and a cat

Yugata to Neko is a four-piece pop band with a delicate musicality and worldview that feels like snapshots of everyday life.
They’re known for their so-called “emo” style, and they bring that emotion to Enmeisen as well.
Although the chorus features falsetto, the song otherwise has a narrow vocal range and no complex vocal lines, making it very easy to sing.
If the falsetto feels difficult, try deliberately raising the key so the notes sit comfortably in your head voice.
