Sacrifice Unto SebekNILE

NILE captivates with a brutal, technical death metal sound.
Their songs incorporate Egyptian scales, transmuting an oriental flavor into something devilish, and their ultra-technical playing unfolds an overwhelming sonic universe.
Highly recommended for those who are tired of half-hearted metal.
Crack AddictLimp Bizkit

It’s a popular song by a hugely successful American band that has been at the forefront of rap metal for nearly 20 years.
True to their style, the track blends the lightness of hip-hop with the heavy sound of heavy metal, resulting in a classic of the genre.
The UsurperCeltic Frost

Celtic Frost, the legendary extreme metal act born in Switzerland.
They had an enormous influence on the genre known as black metal, and this track is from their 1985 debut and signature album, To Mega Therion.
Including the album cover designed by H.
R.
Giger, the atmosphere is utterly evil and terrifying.
The spat-out vocals, chugging guitars, and raucous drums are aggressive and awesome!
VENGEANCEcoldrain

This is a track released in February 2024 by coldrain, a band that represents Japan’s loud scene.
Centered on the theme of revenge, it captures intense emotional highs and lows that powerfully shake the listener.
It was also chosen as the opening theme for the anime Ninja Kamui.
The contrast between Masato’s powerful screamed vocals and melodious singing is superb, showcasing the band’s high level of musicianship.
The song was created on the momentum following the release of their first album in about three years, Nonnegative, in 2023 and their successful first show at Yokohama Arena.
It’s a perfect song for anyone who wants to unleash the emotions hidden deep within.
Furor DivinusBehemoth

This is a track from The Satanist, the 10th album by the Polish black/death metal band Behemoth.
In recent years Behemoth have often leaned more toward death metal, but this song once again delivers that cool black metal vibe.
The rapid drive of the tremolo-picked riffs is simply badass.
It’s a thoroughly satisfying track to listen to.
In conclusion
As mentioned at the beginning, in the 2020s the metal genre has become highly fragmented, and bands that suggest new possibilities for metal—such as Sleep Token, who have been ranking high on the charts—are emerging one after another.
I’d be delighted if this article has sparked even a little interest in the wonderful history of metal!
