Vocaloid songs that start with 'Ka'
The Vocaloid scene just keeps getting more and more exciting!
In addition to offline events held every year like “Magical Mirai,” the online event “The VOCALOID Collection,” commonly known as VocaColle, becomes a major topic of conversation every time it’s held.
There’s even a new term for younger Vocaloid fans: the “Vocaloid-native generation.”
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the world of synthesized vocals has taken root as a music genre in its own right.
Now then, what I’m going to introduce this time is Vocaloid songs that start with the letter “Ka” (か)!
I hope you discover some new music you’ll love!

I will teach you how to commit the perfect crime.Jorujin

It’s a Vocaloid song that’s so scary you can’t take your ears—or eyes—off it.
Created by the Vocaloid producer Jorujin, also known under the name Ankoku Dowa-P (Dark Fairy Tale P), it was released in March 2023.
The lyrics are based on a trick featured in Soji Shimada’s novel The Tokyo Zodiac Murders, and… well, the content is quite violent, and revealing more would be a spoiler, so I can’t go into detail here.
Even the ominous title is intriguing, and I encourage you to uncover the truth for yourself.
If you’re a fan of detective fiction, this will definitely hit the mark!
Perfect Crime Masterclass II: Inugami ArcJorujin

“Complete Guide to the Perfect Crime II: Inugami Chapter,” a 2024 March release by Vocaloid producer Jorujin—also known as Dark Fairy Tale P—was created based on the Kindaichi Kosuke series novel The Inugami Clan.
The lyrics weave in a complex murder scheme over an inheritance and the struggle of a detective trying to thwart it.
Because the mystery elements are strong, I won’t go into detail here to avoid spoilers, but if you love detective fiction, this will almost certainly hit the mark for you!
Kagerou Daze -in a daze-jin

The Kagerou Project series sparked a huge boom, centered on Niconico.
Beginning with the song “Jinzou Enemy,” it expanded into a cross-media franchise and gained immense support.
Some of you may even feel you “devoted your youth to KagePro.” The novel Kagerou Daze -in a daze- was released in 2012, and since then more than eight related novelizations have been published.
There are also anime and manga, so it might be enjoyable to read while comparing the different storylines.
Kagerou DaysJin (Shizen no Teki P) feat. Rib

From this song sprang the phenomenon that led to novels, manga, and even an anime: Kagerou Daze.
Its story-driven lyrics depict a boy who repeatedly relives his life, struggling each time to save a girl from a fatal accident.
The singer Rib delivers a powerful and stylish performance.

Some of you might enjoy songs that feature rapid-fire, tightly rhymed lyrics.
In that case, I’d like to recommend “Chameleon.” This piece was released by Surii in 2021.
It likens a woman who disguises herself to win the affection of her crush to a chameleon.
Throughout the song, pleasing rhymes appear in various phrases, creating a strangely addictive, lingering effect.
Another highlight is the abundance of unique metaphors woven into the lyrics.
Be sure to read the lyrics closely and analyze them.

The theme of the song is “Life Is Only Goodbye,” and it’s sure to be something you’ll want to listen to in the cool days before summer, like around Father’s Day.
In particular, this track—modern enka-style with the tone of a folk guitar—is easy listening for dads’ generation, so I highly recommend it.
A Bouquet of Sulkiness Dedicated to Godslowly; sluggishly; dawdling

A track by Vocaloid producer Chintara, who has a broad musical background spanning jazz, rock, blues, and classical.
It’s a number where fast melodies that leverage VOCALOID’s unique traits mesh seamlessly with a jazzy atmosphere.
While the glamorous brass section tends to steal the spotlight, the more you listen, the more details you discover: the piano that shapes the song’s ambiance, the bass slaps that add punchy accents, the guitar solo that evokes rock within a jazz framework, and the drums’ dynamically shifting beats.
