From here on, I’m going to introduce a bunch of wonderful songs performed by the popular VOCALOID, GUMI.
GUMI was developed based on the voice of Megumi Nakajima, who works as a voice actress and singer, and is characterized by her human-like vocal quality.
You might have the impression that she’s mainly used for rock-style tracks, but of course that’s not all.
They’re all masterpieces where various Vocaloid producers let their musical sensibilities explode.
There are so many that it’s hard to introduce them all.

If I could become someone's heartYurii Canon

This is a Vocaloid song that sings of wanting to become someone’s reason to live, carrying a bittersweet yet powerful message.
Created by the Vocaloid producer YurryCanon—also known for “Odoryanse” and “Suicide Parade”—it was released in 2018.
It’s an energetic mixture rock number, yet thanks to the ingenuity of the melodic lines and sound arrangement, the lyrics slip effortlessly into your head.
It’s very easy to listen to and incredibly cool.
If someone who’s struggling listens to it, it might just lift their spirits.
Amanojaku164

You could say it’s a masterpiece that helped spark the trend of making rock songs with GUMI.
The sound is just plain cool, with GUMI’s high notes, rapidly shifting arrangements, and lyrics full of aching sorrow.
In every aspect, I think it’s an outstanding track.
ECHOCrusher-P

Created by an overseas Vocaloid producer, this is a massively popular hit.
The stylish, all-English electronic track “ECHO,” released in 2014, has captivated countless Vocaloid fans.
Its lyrics convey the feelings of a protagonist who has lost sight of their true self.
You can ponder the meaning behind it, or simply let the cool beats move your body—either way, it’s a masterpiece.
Incidentally, it’s also a collaboration with another overseas Vocaloid producer, Circus-P.
FragileNuyuri

An addictive, stylish four-on-the-floor track that sings of wanting to be loved even when you’re weak.
It’s a work by the Vocaloid producer Nuyuri—also known for “Fixer” and “Inochi Bakkari”—released in 2016.
The melody is understated, yet the emotion that comes through is overwhelming.
It’s the kind of song that makes you hold your breath as you listen.
It’s included on the albums “Uzō Gūzō” and “plotoplan,” both released the same year, so if you’re interested, please consider purchasing them.
Sunny again todayFuwari-P

For those of you thinking, “I just can’t seem to get energized today…,” here’s a refreshing Vocaloid track I’d love to recommend.
It was released in 2013 and included on the compilation album ‘EXIT TUNES PRESENTS GUMitia from Megpoid.
’ When we’re simply going about our lives, it’s easy to feel like every day is the same, but listening to this song makes you realize that everyday life itself is a blessing.
It’s a lively GUMI track that’s also perfect for singing along to blow off some steam.
Life Reset Buttonkemu

A sense of speed and a rolling, ever-shifting song structure—this is Vocalo-rock at its finest! This track, created by kemu, was released in 2011.
Despite being a debut work, it quickly made waves and soon joined the ranks of popular songs.
It’s counted as one of kemu’s signature tracks.
If there were a button right in front of you that could reset your life… what would you do? It’s a masterpiece that also invites the fun of imagining, “What if it were me?” As a side note, it’s included in rhythm games like Taiko no Tatsujin.
ValericoMikito-P

It’s a rock number marked by sharp guitar riffs and an upbeat rhythm.
Created by Mikito-P, who has remained at the forefront of the Vocaloid scene for many years, it was released in 2014.
The lyrics vividly portray a girl’s fragility and emotional swings.
You can’t help but ponder the meaning of each and every word.
While the sound is pleasant, a dark worldview peeks through, perhaps due to the contrast with the lyrics.
Still, its addictive quality is tremendous—you’ll want to listen to it over and over.
