From here on, I’m going to introduce a bunch of wonderful songs performed by the popular VOCALOID, GUMI.

You might have the impression that she’s mainly used for rock-style tracks, but of course that’s not all.
They’re all masterpieces where various Vocaloid producers let their musical sensibilities explode.
There are so many that it’s hard to introduce them all.

I chopped a stag beetle and time-slipped.Sunfish P is dead behind the house

A single song that weaves a tear-jerking story you’d never expect from its somewhat quirky title.
The constantly shifting musical styles keep you engaged, and the uniquely phrased lyrics by “The Sunfish Is Dead Behind My House P” are sure to make you chuckle.
It has even been adapted for the stage in the past.
Love HeroLast Note.

The aggressive sound is really cool! It’s a track by the music unit Last Note.
, released in 2012.
Even after getting rejected, they pick themselves up and charge straight into love again.
It’s a slightly unusual rock number sung from the perspective of someone watching such a protagonist.
The lively, powerful sonic texture feels great, and maybe thanks to its classic song structure, the sense of refreshment after listening is off the charts.
If you want to blow off some steam, why not try singing it yourself?
I want to see you.Signal P

The Last Confession of the Earthkemu

This is a poignant song about a girl who has ended up with eternal life.
The melody is upbeat and exhilarating, like racing forward, but the lyrics are overwhelmingly sad.
That sadness is amplified all the more.
You can enjoy it both as a piece of music and as a self-contained story.

It sounds like someone else’s problemAme no Murakumo P

You can tell how good the song is from the intro alone.
It’s a work by Ameno Murakumo-P, released in 2018.
The sound, which uses a variety of tones, is wonderful.
The drum phrases and melody lines are rhythmic and never get boring to listen to.
The lyrics convey frustration with oneself for not being able to grow, which is heartbreaking.
I can’t help but relate it to myself.
If it were easy to know what truly matters in life, we wouldn’t struggle—but this song teaches us a piece of that truth.
