Classic songs sung by GUMI. Recommended popular Vocaloid tracks.
From here on, I’m going to introduce a bunch of wonderful songs performed by the popular VOCALOID, GUMI.
GUMI was developed based on the voice of Megumi Nakajima, who works as a voice actress and singer, and is characterized by her human-like vocal quality.
You might have the impression that she’s mainly used for rock-style tracks, but of course that’s not all.
They’re all masterpieces where various Vocaloid producers let their musical sensibilities explode.
There are so many that it’s hard to introduce them all.

Masterpieces Sung by GUMI: Recommended Popular Vocaloid Songs (31–40)
Tori no ai utaDECO*27

The composition is by DECO*27, with lyrics written by actress Kou Shibasaki.
Apparently, the album “Souaisei Riron” happened to make its way from a staff member to Shibasaki, and she ended up really liking the songs.
By the way, the title is said to be an anagram of “Toriai no Uta” (Song of Competing Over).
334 enemiesKonata P

This work by the Vocaloid producer Konata-P—also known for “Crayon” and “My Rules of Love”—was released in 2012.
It features an upbeat four-on-the-floor foundation, jazzy piano phrases, and a guitar tone that pushes forward with compelling intensity.
The razor-sharp drum patterns are cool as well.
The lyrics describe the loneliness of being by oneself, a feeling everyone has experienced at some point and can’t help but relate to.
By the way, the title “334” is a Japanese wordplay that sounds like “sabishii” (lonely).
Root SphereLast Note.

It’s a very refreshing song that will make you feel positive no matter what.
The cuteness of the music video also became a hot topic.
I’d love for anyone who wants to take that first step with courage to give it a listen.
I can introduce it as a prime example of an energizing GUMI track.
About meChouchou-P

This song is characterized by lyrics that are mostly in English.
When it comes to Chouchou-P, he’s also known for works like “Eh? Ah, Sou.” and “Black Board,” and this track is one of his signature pieces as well.
The poignant lyrics and piano tone just before the final chorus tighten your chest with emotion.
A Childlike Girl and the Adult WorldcosMo@Bousou-P

The lyrics and composition are by cosMo@Bousou-P, also famous for “The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku.” This song is part of the “Hoshino Shoujo to Gensou Gakushi” series, and, in a story-like fashion, it sings about how things that are “boring” and “trivial” can corrupt the hearts of boys and maidens.

Thinking of you, unrequited loveTakanon

This is the ultimate heart-fluttering song! Even from the intro, it overflows with cuteness, and the lyrics capture the sweet and bittersweet feelings of a girl in love.
It’s a highly recommended track that younger listeners in particular will relate to.
If you’re in the mood for a cute GUMI song, this is a must-listen.
Masked bitcHGiga

A work by Giga, known for “Gigantic O.
T.
N,” released simultaneously with singer 96neko’s version.
Above all, the PV is highly elaborate: the beginning scrolls, and the chorus is styled like a game screen.
You can enjoy both the song and the video.
