[For Men] Karaoke Challenge Songs: A collection of tracks that look cool if you can sing them! (31–40)
SOULSOUPOfficial HIGE DANDism

This is Official HIGE DANDism’s 14th digital-only single, released in December 2023.
It was reportedly written as the theme song for the animated film SPY×FAMILY CODE: White.
Official HIGE DANDism is known (infamous?) for the high difficulty of their songs, and this track is no exception.
If you can reproduce the clear, powerful high notes and the sense of speed in karaoke, you’re sure to earn praise from everyone around you! If you’re confident in your soaring high range, definitely give it a try.
Try placing the resonance so the sound hits the upper palate in your oral cavity; you’ll likely get a tone rich in pleasing high overtones—give it a shot!
Que sera, seraMrs. GREEN APPLE

This is Mrs.
GREEN APPLE’s seventh digital-only single, released in April 2023.
It was written as the theme song for the ABC TV/TV Asahi drama series “Even If It’s Sunday Night…”.
Motoki Omori, the vocalist of Mrs.
GREEN APPLE, is a singer whose appeal lies in a voice that carries a touch of boyishness.
In this track as well, he delivers a superb vocal performance, freely switching between powerful chest voice and delicate falsetto, showcasing a truly shape-shifting command of his voice.
Because the song hinges on skillful, seamless transitions in vocal production, I recommend listening closely to the original, studying it, and then trying to sing it yourself to capture everyone’s attention!
ANTENNAMrs. GREEN APPLE

The lead track from Mrs.
GREEN APPLE’s fifth album, ANTENNA, released in July 2023.
It serves as the Japan national team’s support song for Fuji TV’s World Cup Volleyball 2023.
The song features a melody with complex rises and falls, paired with vocals that skillfully switch techniques in response—making it a highly rewarding challenge for advanced karaoke singers.
Be sure to sing it in a way that preserves the original’s sense of uplift and exhilarating speed!
-ness; typicality; the quality/essence of being [X] (as in “X-ness” or “X-like character”)Official HIGE DANDism

It’s the theme song for the feature anime “Hyaku-Emu,” and it’s a quintessentially Higedan-style challenge piece.
The rhythm is fairly steady, but there are a lot of words, making breathing difficult, and the range is very wide.
In the C melody and the chorus, many people will probably think, “Does the pitch really go up here?” Once you start singing, there are almost no breaks and the melody keeps coming one after another, so you’ll need a fair bit of determination.
First, make sure you thoroughly memorize the lyrics and melody! The A melody seems like it can be sung relatively calmly, but from the B melody on, it’ll be tough unless you plan your breath points.
Rather than singing at 100% the whole time, aim to release your voice little by little and then give it your all in the high notes—that balance works well, I think! Don’t miss any fleeting moments where you can take a breath.
Also, in parts that drop from high notes to low, the pitch tends to sag and you may end up straining your throat, so try singing with your eyebrows kept raised!
giftRADWIMPS

RADWIMPS’s “Tamamono,” chosen as the theme song for NHK’s morning drama series Anpan that has been airing since March 2025, is a track packed with an astonishing density of information in its roughly 4 minutes and 50 seconds—so much so that a single listen isn’t enough to grasp its full picture.
It weaves in elements reminiscent of Showa-era pop, rhythmically rapped vocals laced with falsetto, and even sections that feel like children’s songs.
The restless, fast-evolving arrangement gives the impression that the band has reached a new level.
That said, it’s obvious the song would be extremely difficult to sing at karaoke.
The vocal range is wide, the rhythm is tricky, and if you don’t memorize the structure precisely, you’ll be left behind.
So until you get a handle on the whole piece, it’s best to listen to it repeatedly.

Bye-Bye to youUVERworld

Speaking of UVERworld’s songs, they tend to stay in the high register throughout.
This track, too, keeps high notes from start to finish, and the pitch moves up and down quite a lot, so if you’re not used to singing high, there’s a concern you might end up straining your throat.
The high note that pops up at the end of the chorus jumps to a C5, so it might be good to start by practicing just that part to hit it explosively.
To produce a powerful voice like vocalist TAKUYA∞, you need solid core support! If your body wobbles while riding a train or bus, it means your lower abdomen (tanden) isn’t engaged.
That will make your singing waver too, so try singing with firm strength in your lower abdomen.
It’s a difficult song, so don’t rush—practice steadily!
LADYKenshi Yonezu

This is a digital-download-only single by Kenshi Yonezu, released in March 2023.
It was reportedly created as the CM song for Coca-Cola Japan’s “Georgia” commercial, the “Every day is quite a drama.” version.
Now, if you just listen casually, you might feel it’s a very pop melody and seems relatively easy to sing, but if you listen closely, you’ll notice there are many tricky spots to sing: skillful shifts between various vocal techniques in different parts of the song, rhythmic “tricks,” and a melody development in the D section that subverts the listener’s expectations.
Among all that, what I think is most important when you sing this song at karaoke is how you cut off or sustain notes in each phrase throughout the track.
Focus on that, study the original carefully, and then give it a try.
