Gone, Gone, GonePhillip Phillips

Phillip Phillips’s classic song “Gone, Gone, Gone” is wonderfully fresh with lovely lyrics.
Since the song doesn’t have many high parts and doesn’t require much vibrato, it’s recommended for beginners.
In the chorus, if the lyric “for you” doesn’t have enough fullness, it can sound weak, so pay attention to that.
The English isn’t particularly difficult either, so you probably won’t need too much practice.
Give it a try!
Something Just Like ThisThe Chainsmokers & Coldplay

Here is a song released in 2018 as a collaboration between Coldplay, a popular group that has sold over 100 million records worldwide, and The Chainsmokers, an electronic dance music DJ duo.
It will turn out even better if you study English pronunciation a bit and pay attention to which lyrics are emphasized.
Can’t Feel My FaceThe Weeknd

The Weeknd is an artist whose work blends R&B elements with genres like trip-hop and chillwave in a really compelling way.
His voice and the feel of his songs are super reminiscent of Michael Jackson.
Among English-speaking artists, his sense of style is truly top-tier.
This song is on the harder side compared to the ones featured here, but if you can pull it off, it’ll look seriously cool! If you’re confident in your groove and high notes, definitely give it a try.
The key to this song is how you cut off the ends of phrases.
Don’t let them trail off weakly—finish them clean and sharp.
It’s R&B, so the difficulty is higher, but it’s absolutely worth the challenge! It’ll surely level up your vocal technique!

You’re BeautifulJames Blunt

James Blunt’s classic “You’re Beautiful.” It became well-known in Japan after being used in a Toyota commercial.
It’s a fairly popular song in Japan, but the truth is that it’s actually hugely disliked overseas.
According to statistics from OnePoll.
com, it ranked number one as “the most annoying song of all time.” Blunt himself also placed fourth in a UK “most annoying things” ranking (lol).
The song itself is simple, so I think it’s super easy to sing.
Use SomebodyKings Of Leon

It’s a ballad rock tune by Kings of Leon released in 2008.
The key might be a bit high for male singers, but since it’s slow-tempo with a simple, easy-to-remember melody and relatively few lyrics, it should be easy to sing at karaoke.
We Are The ChampionsQueen

It was included on an album released in 1977 and has become one of Queen’s signature songs.
The chorus has simple phrases that everyone can sing along to, but parts like the verses, where there are more words, might be difficult, so it will take some practice.
Born With a Broken HeartDamiano David

Måneskin is an Italian rock band that has gained worldwide popularity.
Their songs are used all over social media, and since they’ve performed in Japan, I’m sure many people are familiar with them.
Damiano David, who serves as the band’s vocalist, also works as a solo artist.
Among his solo tracks, the one I especially recommend is Born With a Broken Heart.
It’s a slightly nostalgic alternative rock piece with a narrow vocal range.
At the end of the chorus, there’s a verse featuring a vocal line that, while not quite a melisma or a “fake,” includes some fairly pronounced pitch shifts with a touch of falsetto.
Aside from that, there’s nothing particularly difficult about it—it’s an easygoing track.
