Here’s Bruno Mars’s hit song released in 2010.

“Just the Way You Are” seems like a song that would really delight a woman you’re interested in if you sing it to her at karaoke.

Since the verses have many repeated notes, you can focus all your effort on the chorus, and you’ll probably be able to sing it well.

Released in 1988, this song became a big hit and was created entirely using the artist’s own voice, multi-tracked to produce the rhythm, bass, and everything else.

It’s a monotonous, continuous track with a laid-back vibe, but it builds lightly and gently with a brisk feel, making it easy to sing at any moment.

If you give this song a listen, you’ll see it’s straight-up disco.

And guess what? There aren’t many high notes in it.

Plus, you don’t need vibrato or vocal runs.

If anything, it’s just the falsetto at the end of the chorus.

It enjoys unwavering popularity across the United States.

This track is sung to an ex, expressing the feeling of having completely moved on from a past relationship.

Clinging is off-putting, but being pushed away with absolutely no lingering attachment can still feel heartbreaking, right? With a sparse arrangement, the lyrics convey a bold, confident attitude.

It would be pretty cool to be able to sing this one.

Now, onto the main topic.

I mentioned at the beginning that there’s a certain genre that’s super easy to sing, right? A perfect example of that genre is “September.” This song is what you’d call disco sound.

On top of the disco vibe, it also has elements of funk.

And this genre is really easy to sing.

That’s because funk and disco music often use a vocal style with a bouncy, staccato rhythm.

This “staccato” is something you can pull off even without advanced technique.

In other words, even if you’re not great at singing, you can cover it up quite well.

It’s a genuinely easy genre to sing, so definitely give it a try!
