Up until now, when it came to Nissan commercials, Eikichi Yazawa had a strong association, but in August 2020 Takuya Kimura appeared.
In July 2020, Nissan refreshed its emblem and unveiled the new ARIYA electric vehicle—a commercial launched right at the dawn of a new era.
Nissan can be said to be in the midst of adversity, and having Takuya Kimura—who has faced various hardships—appear with the line, “Bring it on,” is genuinely cool and compelling.
The track by audioforce, which heightens the sense of rugged resolve, fits perfectly with the commercial’s situation and with Kimura’s monologue.
Blinding LightsThe Weeknd
This is an introductory commercial for the new 3008 that showcases both the car’s interior and exterior, capturing everything from the great outdoors to the city.
Through visuals and narration, it highlights the stylish design and ride comfort, building a strong sense of anticipation.
Accompanying the refined imagery is The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” one of his signature songs released in 2019.

A Nissan NOTE e-Power commercial shows a girl who forgot something borrowing her boyfriend’s car to go pick it up.
The ad features stylish, Western-style music—but it’s actually an original song made just for the commercial.
A fresh, uplifting melody plays, perfectly matching the visuals of the car delivering a pleasant drive as it zips breezily along the coast and through the mountains.

Honda (1–10)
First kissNEW!Divorce Legend
This is an introduction commercial for the Vezel with the memorable tagline “Born for the city.” In addition to highlighting its interior and exterior features, the ad emphasizes how easy it is to drive in urban areas, including a size that makes parking in city lots simple.
Not only is the Vezel shown with a focus on its stylishness, but the visuals themselves are cool and eye-catching.

This is a commercial for the Freed, which underwent a full model change in 2024, promoting its comfortable interior created by a flat floor design all the way to the third row.

This commercial, which shows Shizuka Ishibashi inviting an acquaintance for a drive over the phone, is for Honda’s SUV, the VEZEL.
Many viewers were likely captivated by Ishibashi’s expressions as she drives around to various places and enjoys herself.

Fear for NobodyMåneskin
This commercial showcases the ZR-V’s outstanding driving performance, featuring footage of the ZE-V actually running on a racetrack.
