Karaoke songs recommended for men with low voices or who are good at singing in a low register
In recent years, Japan’s music scene has seen an increase in songs with lots of high notes, influenced by K-pop.
As a result, it’s become harder for men with lower voices to find songs that suit them.
So! We’ve selected recommended tracks specifically for men with deep voices.
We also considered how well these songs go over at karaoke, so if you’re planning to go with a group soon, be sure to check them out.

Karaoke Songs Recommended for Men with Deep Voices and Strong Low Range (71–80)
March 9Remioromen

Except for the chorus, the overall vocal range is low, and its simple progression is part of the appeal.
It’s a song that really suits a deep, low voice.
However, the chorus suddenly jumps to higher notes, so you’ll either need to make sure you can hit them—or just give up altogether (lol).
You might even want to pass the mic to the person you’re at karaoke with.
Higher Remix (feat. YZERR, Tiji Jojo, eyden, Bonbero, SEEDA)¥ellow bucks

One of the most active rappers in today’s hip-hop scene, ¥ellow Bucks.
Even after getting busted, his popularity hasn’t waned, and he still earns props from many heads.
Among his tracks, the one I especially recommend for men with deep voices is “Higher Remix (feat.
YZERR, Tiji Jojo, eyden, Bonbero, SEEDA).” It’s a very stylish song, and the low tones in the hook, in particular, really showcase the strengths of a deep voice.
LemonKenshi Yonezu

This is Kenshi Yonezu’s eighth major-label single, released digitally on February 12, 2018, and on CD on March 14 of the same year.
It was written as the theme song for TBS’s Friday drama “Unnatural,” so many of you may have heard it on TV.
I think the song’s melody is crafted to fully convey Yonezu’s simple yet captivating low-register voice.
It’s an ideal choice for men who are good at singing in a lower range to pick for karaoke.
There are some high notes in the chorus sung in falsetto, so be sure to use your head voice skillfully there!
Believe it or NotChozen Lee

Chozen Lee, a member of FIRE BALL, is a leading figure in the Eastern dancehall scene.
He has created numerous classics, but the one I especially recommend is “Believe it or Not.” It’s a lively, soulful dancehall track built primarily around the low-to-mid frequency range.
Many of the vocal lines are designed to bring out the depth of a low male register, so if you want to showcase the richness of your voice, definitely give it a listen.
bouquetback number

This is back number’s second single, released on June 22, 2011.
It was also used as the ending theme for TBS’s COUNT DOWN TV in May 2011.
Set over the simple arrangement of a three-piece band, vocalist Iyori Shimizu’s unadorned, slightly languid voice resonates in a very pleasing way, making for a beautifully crafted track.
The A-melody section, in particular, seems perfect for men who are strong in the lower range to really showcase their appeal.
There are parts like the chorus that require slightly higher notes, but rather than using falsetto, pushing your voice a bit and belting it out will make it a song that conveys more emotion.
Nothing I do goes well.meiyo

A debut work by meiyo, whose deep, mellow low tones resonate with the heart.
Far more than just a song that trended on social media, it’s a masterpiece that vividly captures the feelings of today’s youth.
With a sharp eye, it portrays the true emotions of modern people—putting on a brave face while tormented by inferiority, and confronting self-loathing.
The vocal range is set on the lower side at C3–A#4, making it very comfortable for low-voiced male singers.
As you listen, you’ll notice sections with octave-above backing vocals, so when singing, be careful not to get pulled up into the higher register.
AmorfactionMordeo

Singer Morudeo, who has gained popularity in the streaming scene centered on Niconama, originally focused on impersonating Takahiro Sakurai, but now actively performs as a vocalist, making full use of his singing ability.
His voice is especially attractive in the mid-to-low range, with the mid-to-low tones during his shouts being particularly striking.
Among his songs, “Amorfaction” is one I especially recommend.
Shouts appear throughout the track, but since most of them are in the mid-to-low range, men with lower voices should be able to sing it without any trouble.
