Karaoke Beginners Welcome! Easy-to-Sing Songs for Men (11–20)

CreepHyp – “Raw Liver” (MUSIC VIDEO)
Raw liver Creephype

CreepHyp is a rock band that’s gained popularity for their catchy musical style and humorous lyrics.

Since they’re always near the top of the charts, you probably have plenty of chances to hear their songs.

Of all their tracks, the one I especially recommend is Nama Reba.

The overall vocal range is narrow, making it easy to sing, but the chorus has few rests, so try not to push your volume too much when you sing it.

Other than that, the pitch doesn’t move around drastically, so definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.

EurekaGen Hoshino

Gen Hoshino – Eureka [Official Video]
Eureka Gen Hoshino

This is the song released by Gen Hoshino on January 28, 2025, which became the theme for the medical drama “Madoka, 26, I’m a Resident!” The overall vocal range is D3–A4, covering the lower-mid to upper-mid range, making it a comfortable key for male singers.

It may be easier to sing if you clip the ends of phrases in the A section and stay mindful not to rush the tempo.

Also, since the song has a calm tone, avoid straining your throat: keep your facial muscles lifted so your vocal folds vibrate freely.

Imagine projecting the voice toward the front of your eyebrows or slightly upward; for low notes, send the voice forward slowly, and for high notes, add a touch of accent and release the sound a bit quicker.

In both cases, make sure to use ample breath—breathe through your mouth and sing!

Planetary Romanceimase

Planetary Romance imase

This is the song that began streaming on April 25, 2025, and was selected as the new commercial song for “JACCS.” Some of you may already find it familiar, right? Since the song generally doesn’t go very high, it’s in a key that’s easy for the average male singer.

The chorus has a rhythmic feel, so it’s the kind of song that makes you want to move your hands and your whole body while you sing.

I definitely want you to sing along while grooving! Singing with the rhythm has its benefits: it helps you relax instead of tensing up.

Sound doesn’t come from the throat but from the vocal folds, so if your body is tense, your throat will tense up no matter how hard you try to avoid it, and your voice will feel strained.

If you can relax, your vocal folds will vibrate naturally and you’ll sing more comfortably! imase himself has a relaxed vocal quality, so try imitating that!

Always by my sideFANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE

It’s the theme song for the movie “Next-Door Stella,” released for streaming on August 6, 2025.

Among FANTASTICS’ songs, its difficulty is relatively easy, centering on a comfortable mid-range that naturally suits male voices.

The tempo is relaxed and flows smoothly, so even beginners can sing it with confidence.

There are spots where you switch from chest voice to falsetto, and the overall vibe is gentle, so when you sing, try to keep it light with the sensation of resonating in your head.

Humming makes this very clear, so it’s highly recommended.

Once you can hum without tension using your breath, you’ll be able to control your airflow better, making those transitions much smoother.

After you get used to humming, turn that same sensation into your singing voice and get a feel for it!

my worst true feelingsMiyauchi

Miyauchi – The Worst True Feelings (Visualizer)
Miyauchi’s awful true feelings

Born in 1999 and hailing from Kawasaki, Tokyo, Miyauchi is gaining attention as a rapper.

Influenced by artists like KOHH and BAD HOP, Miyauchi became one of the hottest rappers today after his 2024 release “Swag” went viral across several Asian countries.

While he captivates with a variety of styles, the track we’re highlighting this time, “Saitei na Honne” (My Worst True Feelings), is striking for its honesty—just as the title suggests, it lays his true feelings bare in the lyrics.

His candid rap about the pressure that comes with attention and the doubts he has about how he’s changing is sure to resonate with many listeners.

Built around a wistful guitar and delivered in a melodic rap style, the chorus in particular is perfect for everyone to sing along to at karaoke.

SHUJINKOWhale at Night in the City

KUJIRA YORU NO MACHI “SHUJINKO” Music Video
SHUJINKO Whale Night City

Right now, Kujira Yoru no Machi is a band rapidly gaining momentum in the Japanese rock scene.

They’re known for a unique worldview that brilliantly blends fantastical melodies with everyday life, and they’ve seen a sharp rise in popularity since the 2020s.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is “SHUJINKO.” It might seem like a demanding piece at first glance, but its vocal range is relatively narrow, and there aren’t complex pitch shifts.

With many repeating sections, once you get used to it, it’s a song you can really make your own.

astronomical observationBUMP OF CHICKEN

This was BUMP OF CHICKEN’s second single, released in March 2001.

It also served as the theme song for a Fuji TV drama of the same name.

Now, since Fujiwara’s vocal timbre isn’t particularly high-pitched, the song might seem easy to sing even for lower voices at first glance.

However, the chorus actually goes surprisingly high when you try singing it, so you may need to be a bit careful.

On the other hand, parts like the A melody demand fairly low notes, so if you lower the key of the song, you might run into the issue of your voice not projecting forward.

In any case, for the low-note sections, make sure to support your voice firmly with your core, and for the chorus, it’s fine to sing with a bit of a gritty, shouted feel.

Try singing it powerfully, and take care not to let your voice crack.
