DropoutSEKAI NO OWARI

A mixed-gender four-piece band, SEKAI NO OWARI, who steadfastly pursue a unique musical identity through their meticulous worldbuilding and performance.
This song was featured in au’s 2020 commercial “au 5G in Your Hands — Support Across Time,” creating a CM that evoked the future by fusing a majestic, spacious sound with the visuals and message.
Centered on vocalist Fukase’s instantly recognizable voice and the transparent tones of the piano, the track conveys a profound sense of breadth and expansiveness.
Ave MariaIshii Yuko

The commercial “Marathon Training” from the Overly Conscious! Takasugi-kun series, starring Ryunosuke Kamiki, Taishi Nakagawa, and Nanase Nishino, features Schubert’s Ave Maria, arranged by Yuko Ishii, who has worked on numerous commercial songs.
In the second half of the ad, the piece plays with a mood that seems to extol the product.
Although the piece prominently bears Schubert’s name, it is actually his musical setting of a poem from The Lady of the Lake by another poet.
Its pure, beautiful melody offers a soothing experience to listeners, even within the short span of a commercial.
Opera Aida 'Triumphal March'Shota Matsuda, Kenta Kiritani, Gaku Hamada, Kasumi Arimura, Nanao, Masaki Suda, Rina Kawaei

KDDI’s commercial, “Zenryoku Aida” (Full-Power Aida), supports Japan’s national soccer team.
When it comes to soccer, this is the song—hearing it instantly brings the sport to mind.
Its official title is the “Triumphal March,” the second piece in Act II of the opera Aida.
Even though the vocals are basically just “Oh,” it’s incredibly catchy and stirs your fighting spirit.
You might not know the opera, but this one track conjures up the soccer pitch in your mind.
It’s classical music, but it’s become inseparable from soccer.
Everyone is 'Every One'!Thumbelina (Elaiza Ikeda)

The song featured in au’s first commercial released in 2021.
Many people were likely surprised by Elaiza Ikeda’s vocals—clear yet powerful—who, while active as an actress and fashion model, plays Thumbelina in the ad.
The message that everyone may seem the same yet each person has their own individuality perfectly matches the concept of the commercial, with au meaning “hero.” The TV spot uses a short version, but it’s a track you should definitely listen to in full.
TAKAAhadadream x Priya Ragu x Skrillex

This is a commercial for the iPhone 16, announced in September 2024.
From high-speed shots racing through the city to sequences that make it feel like you’re diving into the phone’s internals, the visuals are strikingly dynamic and evoke a near-futuristic vibe.
Starting with this model, Apple’s proprietary AI feature, Apple Intelligence, is built in, and a wealth of related new features are showcased.
The BGM for this ad ushering in a new era of iPhone is “TAKA” by Ahadadream, Priya Ragu, and Skrillex.
Released in 2024, the track features an addictive beat and vocal work that sticks with you after just one listen.
There’s no doubt it’ll make you want to move your body!

Singer-songwriter Sia, who has previously participated under the name LSD in a Galaxy commercial song, has her solo track featured in the S22 commercial airing in April 2022.
The song was included on her 2016 album This Is Acting.
In the commercial, the intro, pre-chorus, and chorus switch rapidly in sync with the visuals, creating a dynamic sense of motion.
Struttin’Thumpasaurus

The more you listen, the more addictive this track becomes: “Struttin’” by the funk-punk band Sunpazaurus.
It’s featured in the Galaxy Z Flip4 commercial “On Sale Now!” The exciting rhythm and sing-along-worthy vocals make it a joy to listen to.
