If You Can Sing These, You’re Amazing! Cool Karaoke Songs for Women (71–80)
Forbidden taleBAND-MAID

BAND-MAID is a girls’ rock band that has consistently remained popular since 2013.
Their hard rock–centered sound is still going strong and continues to earn high praise in the Japanese rock scene.
Among their songs, the one I highly recommend as an impressive challenge to sing is Forbidden tale.
The overall difficulty is high, of course, but the C melody is especially tough.
It features advanced “fakes” (vocal riffs/ad-libs) often used in R&B.
They’re far more difficult than the typical pop-style fakes, so definitely give it a try.
Crimson Lotus FlowerLiSA

This is LiSA’s 15th single overall, released in July 2019.
It served as the opening theme for the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and, riding on the anime’s success, became a massive hit.
I’m sure many of you have heard it.
While LiSA’s dynamic and powerful vocals on this track are certainly worthy of praise, I personally believe the most noteworthy aspect of her singing here is the switch in vocal expression from the opening section—just piano and voice—to the moment the band comes in.
That kind of sudden yet seamless shift in singing is surprisingly hard to pull off when you actually try it.
I encourage you to sing it with attention to that level of detail.
Transform!Ayaka Tachibana

Ayaka Tachibana, known as the vocalist of the anisong band (K)NoW_NAME, is also active as a solo artist, characterized by a sharp, powerful musical style.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is Henshin! This rock track features a decadent sound, with the mid-to-low range standing out throughout.
While the overall vocal range is about average, because most of the melody sits in the mid-to-low register, it’s particularly easy to sing for women with lower voices.
Given its gritty sound, I recommend intentionally singing it with less delicacy for the best effect.

WithLila Ikuta

A female singer who is also active as a member of the music duo YOASOBI, Lila Ikuta released this digital-only single in October 2023.
It was produced as an inspiration song for the film ‘Analog.’ It’s a very beautiful ballad, and within this lovely track, Lila Ikuta showcases stunning high notes, starting with her crystal-clear falsetto.
This is definitely one of the best choices for women who are good at singing high notes to select for karaoke.
Pay attention to switching among chest voice, mixed voice, and falsetto—using a variety of high-tone techniques as you sing.
Amanojaku164 feat. GUMI

Although it was released in 2012, this is one of those Vocaloid songs whose popularity still hasn’t faded.
Many people probably discovered it through TikTok or the cover in “BanG Dream!”.
It’s a classic that keeps gaining recognition in various places—despite mixed opinions—having even been used in MAD videos for the smash-hit 2019 anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.” The lyrics portray someone who can’t forget the person they love and gradually becomes unwell, matched by a guitar-driven, dark sound that’s really cool.
The chorus jumps quite high, so if it’s hard to sing, try lowering the key a bit.
death anniversaryCHANMINA

This is the 17th digital-only single by female rapper Chanmina, released in August 2023.
It was selected as the theme song for TV Asahi’s Thursday drama “Hayabusa Fire Brigade.” As you’d expect from a rapper, I felt Chanmina’s sense of rhythm in the song—the way she feels the beat, her timing between phrases, and her phrasing overall—was exquisite.
If you can recreate this along with her soft yet powerful, bass-rich vocals in karaoke, you’re sure to earn praise from those around you! Make sure to really feel the rhythm of the backing track, and even in the softly sung opening section, try not to lose vocal strength.
Paying attention to how you handle the ends of each phrase will help you sing it even more stylishly!
Lovin’ YouKIRA

Female R&B singer KIRA.
Because she often collaborates with reggae artists, she’s frequently mistaken for a reggae singer, but her main field is definitely R&B.
Among her tracks, the one I especially recommend is Lovin’ You.
It blends the trending tropical house sound with R&B and features a vocal line with a Western pop feel.
Even though the lyrics are in Japanese, the vocal groove and level of difficulty are on par with Western music.
