to clear up (weather)Yorushika

[VIETSUB] Haru “Haru” — Yorushika | Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End OP 2
Haru Yorushika

This is Yorushika’s 17th digital-only single, released in January 2024.

It was selected as the opening theme for the anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, which airs on the Nippon TV network.

The most important point for singing this song well is how effectively you can express dynamic contrast between the chorus and the other sections.

To put it simply: aim for a firm, powerful delivery in the chorus, and in the other parts, keep the tone soft yet never weak or feeble.

It’s quite challenging to execute in practice, but if you pull it off, you’re sure to draw admiration from those around you.

In the final a cappella section, sing with even greater care and dynamic control.

BibbidebaHoshimachi Suisei

Bibbidi-ba Hoshimachi Suisei

Right now, the song drawing the most attention is “Vivid Vice.” It’s a track by Suisei Hoshimachi from the popular VTuber agency hololive.

While she usually excites fans with game streams and chat streams, her true forte is vocals.

Her consistently strong singing ability shines through in this piece as well.

The foundation is a refreshing, upbeat melody, but there are also powerful sections—not quite shouts—that add impact.

She also uses falsetto naturally, making it a more challenging song to perform than it might seem just from listening.

LuluAdo

When it comes to young artists with outstanding vocal ability, Ado is likely the first to come to mind.

Among her songs, the one I especially recommend to women as a particularly challenging piece is LULU.

This track features Ado’s signature shouts throughout.

While this shouting technique can be difficult even for men, it is especially demanding for women.

Simply delivering clear, powerful shouts while maintaining volume is evidence of high-level vocal skill.

I want to tell you how I feel (my love)Aimyon

Aimyon – “I Want to Tell You I Love You” [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]
“Aitai to tsutaetai da toka Aimyon” — likely referring to the song “Ai o Tsutaetai da toka” by Aimyon. In English: “Something like ‘I want to tell you my love’ — Aimyon.”

It’s a simple song, but it’s one that truly shines because of Aimyon’s vocal ability, and it’s one of my favorites too! I always feel that Aimyon’s charm lies in the world she creates with her lyrics and in the beautifully balanced blend of her low and high notes.

In particular, this song has a wide vocal range—from F#3 in the verses and before the chorus to E5 in the chorus—so the pitch differences are extreme, and you’ll want to be careful not to go flat when singing.

The rhythm and breath placement are also quite challenging, but it feels amazing when you can sing it well! I recommend singing it with lots of energy and groove!

Episode XAdo

Ado is a female singer with outstanding, top-tier vocal ability among vocalists.

If you were asked who the coolest-sounding female artist is right now, her name would undoubtedly come up.

Among Ado’s songs, the one I especially recommend is her new track, “Episode X.” This piece puts her greatest strength—shouts—front and center, featuring a raw, rugged vocal style that only a woman can deliver.

It’s quite challenging, but definitely try adding it to your repertoire.

beautiful womanCHANMINA

CHANMINA – Bijin (Dance Performance Video) –
All the beauties

This is a song by Chanmina that’s guaranteed to turn heads when you sing it at karaoke.

It carries a powerful message that challenges society’s imposed standards of “beauty.” Released as a single in April 2021, it’s also included on the album Harenchi.

Her raw, unfiltered performance on THE FIRST TAKE became a major talking point as well.

It’s perfect for when you want to strongly affirm yourself or blow away the frustration.

Grab the mic and give it a try!

Anytime Anywheremilet

This is a digital-only single by singer-songwriter milet, released in September 2023.

It’s crafted as a dramatic, medium-to-slow tempo piece characterized by a grand arrangement.

When performing this song, the most important elements are smooth transitions between chest voice, mixed voice, and falsetto, along with optimal singing technique for each register.

Also, how you feel and place rhythmic accents against the backing track is crucial.

Make sure to really feel the beat as you sing! If possible, pay close attention to the English pronunciation in the parts where English lyrics are used.
