[If You Can Sing These, You're Amazing!] Cool Karaoke Songs for Women (41–50)
So AddictiveReina Washio

A digital-only track by Reina Washio, former member of the Japanese female dance and vocal group E-girls, released in February 2023.
It was chosen as the theme song for the drama “Five Ways to Socially Destroy Your Husband.” While the song features a very striking jazzy arrangement and backing track, Washio’s wonderful vocals shine through and hold their own against the acoustic-only instrumentation.
With its complex melodic development, smooth shifts in vocal delivery to match, and the firm incorporation of a jazzy beat, it’s a very challenging song to sing.
Precisely because of that, if you can pull it off at karaoke, you’re sure to draw attention.
It’s a track I highly recommend to those confident in their singing.
Just be careful not to let your sense of the beat flatten out—doing so would ruin the effect—so pay close attention to that as you sing.
DearREOL

Reol, a female singer-songwriter who’s gained popularity with her sharp, danceable tunes.
Her new track “Dear” continues that crisp musical edge, delivering a stylish yet powerful melody throughout.
As a whole, the piece actually spans a wide musical range; in the C section it modulates, with the mood and rhythm shifting dramatically.
With many high notes as well, it takes considerable expressiveness and pitch control to sing it well.
Definitely check it out.
RISE UPNiziU

NiziU is a Japanese idol group that’s not only popular nationwide but also gaining attention in South Korea.
Many women in their teens and twenties probably have their songs on heavy rotation.
Among NiziU’s tracks, the one I especially recommend is RISE UP.
This song emphasizes K-pop elements more than ever, featuring challenging sections characteristic of K-pop.
Whether it’s the mid-to-high vocal parts or the rap parts, every section demands a strong sense of groove, so it will be difficult to pull off unless you can tap into the feel of Western pop music.
love and joyMiliyah Kato × Ringo Sheena

When it comes to divas of the late Heisei era, Miliyah Kato is undoubtedly at the forefront.
She has collaborated with many artists and drawn plenty of attention over the years, but Ai-raku stands out for its distinctive musicality even among her works.
This collaboration with Ringo Sheena features a serious melody and a unique vocal delivery infused with R&B elements.
Sheena’s parts lean somewhat jazzy, making this track perfect for showcasing the cool allure of both jazz and R&B.
GOLDEN BUDDY feat. KurumaPraise

Sāya from the popular comedy duo Lalande is also showing her talents as an artist.
The band Reisai, formed around her, has been highly acclaimed, especially among younger audiences.
Among their tracks, the one I particularly recommend is “GOLDEN BUDDY feat.
Kuruma.” The song features many sections that lean toward neo-soul—a blend of soul music with elements of jazz, funk, and hip-hop—and throughout, it exudes the distinctive coolness of Black music.
It’s highly recommended for those who want to project coolness through groove.
Caramel PainHoshimachi Suisei

Right now, one of the most active figures in the music scene is the VTuber Suisei Hoshimachi.
Her vocals are captivating, deftly switching between head voice and chest voice, and she’s also well known for her rich lower register.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Caramel Pain.
It’s centered in the midrange, and when the chorus hits, the vocal line starts from a slightly lower section.
There are high notes too, but the structure is perfect for showcasing power in the low to mid range, so if you have a lower voice, definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
Living My Lifemilet

This is milet’s 10th digital-only single, released in July 2023.
It was chosen as the theme song for the Monday 10 PM drama “The Job-Changing Devil.” The slightly languid vibe makes it a very pleasant listen.
As for milet’s vocals here, I was impressed by how she maintains a solid sense of groove even within that languid feel, and by her deft switch in vocal production when singing the highly leaping phrases near the end of the B section.
If you can fully recreate this in karaoke, you’ll definitely draw attention.
First, make sure you clearly understand where the rests fall in the song; mastering how to use them is the key to making it sound really good.
