I think there are quite a few people who aren’t good with karaoke, but sometimes you just can’t turn it down because of social obligations.
What’s more, there may be situations where, once you go, you can’t get away without singing at least one song.
So, I’m going to introduce some short songs that are easy to sing even for those who aren’t comfortable with karaoke!
Most of the songs I’m about to introduce are a little over three minutes long, but some are around two minutes.
Long songs can be tough for people who aren’t confident about singing, but you might be able to manage a short one!
Also, feel free to use this as a reference when choosing the final song as your room time is about to run out.

No doubt Official HIGE DANDism A HIGEDAN number that kicks off with a cool melody that makes everyone around go “What is this?” from the very beginning of the song! It’s the theme song for the drama “The Confidence Man JP,” starring Masami Nagasawa, Masahiro Higashide, and Fumiyo Kohinata.
It’s only 3 minutes and 20 seconds long, but that cool melody leaves a strong impression!

staring contest Sora Tomonari A pop number with an eight-beat groove that incorporates a touch of traditional Japanese flavor, it paints a chic, high-fashion love story.
Following Sora Tomonari’s “Oni no Utage,” it was released in May 2024.
Selected as J-WAVE’s “J-WAVE SONAR TRAX” track for May, it garnered attention with airplay across various wide programs.
Singing of the yearning and inner conflict toward a dangerously alluring ‘beauty,’ this song is easy to sing even for those who aren’t confident at karaoke, and it also makes a great final number.

lazy cat EVE This song portrays a yearning for change while carrying self-denial and regret.
Released as the opening track of Eve’s November 2024 album “Under Blue,” it expresses remorse over past actions and anxiety about an uncertain future, yet ultimately offers glimpses of self-acceptance and hope.
Eve’s characteristically introspective lyrics pair exquisitely with a pop-infused, melancholic sound.
It’s perfect for moments when you want to reflect on yourself or make a fresh start.
