A kangaroo with an ideakururi

There are many songs in the world, but one that is particularly easy to sing is “Kangae ga Aru Kangaroo” (“The Kangaroo With an Idea”).
It was featured on the music program Minna no Uta.
The rock band Quruli handled the composition, arrangement, and vocals.
The song depicts a kangaroo that seems to have some deep thoughts.
The pitch stays constant throughout and there aren’t any big climactic parts, so it’s easy to sing.
It’s also nice that it’s short—about two minutes and twenty seconds.
Summer Love SensationMacaroni Enpitsu

If you’re looking for a rock song that captures the feeling of the seasons, I recommend “Natsukoi Sensation.” It’s a track by the rock band Macaroni Enpitsu, and it thrillingly depicts the romantic mind games between a man and a woman at the beach.
The sound is on the heavier side and the tempo is fast, but the vocal range is narrow, making it easy to sing.
Plus, there are spots where you can take a breather, and there are no high-register parts—great news for those who aren’t confident at karaoke.
fake face dance musicMasanori Onda

The song “fake face dance music” portrays the ache of unrequited love, expressing the complex emotions woven from love and lies.
Released in July 2023, it runs about two and a half minutes.
Its light, singable melody line and stylish sound arrangement leave a strong impression.
And Masanori Onda’s sweet vocals resonate deeply with listeners.
If you’re struggling with love, why not try singing this one?
Stars, Freckles, and DiamondsLegal Lily

It’s a song that blends a classical atmosphere with a modern sensibility.
Created by the rock band Regal Lily, it was broadcast on NHK’s “Minna no Uta” in December 2024 and captured the hearts of many.
Based on vocalist Honoka Takahashi’s real experience of overcoming her complex about her freckles, it delicately portrays childhood anxieties, the kindness given by others, and the budding of self-affirmation.
Recommended for those who value their individuality or seek lyrics that truly resonate.
Singing it with a gentle voice brings out the song’s charm even more.
He was alive, wasn’t he?Aimyon

This is a song by Aimyon, who emerged at the end of the Heisei era and swept through the J-POP scene.
The spoken part in the first half might be a bit challenging, but the melody line in the chorus is very beautiful and irresistibly singable.
It’s about three and a half minutes long, so give it a try at least once.
ROCKSTEADYStraightener

Straightener is a rock band that’s gained popularity for their soulful vocals.
The track “ROCK END ROLL” is included on their first mini-album.
Interestingly, this song was also featured on an album from their indie days, but the members said they weren’t satisfied with how it turned out back then and decided to re-record it.
The lyrics of this version put a strong emphasis on their love for band life and the fun of making music.
It’s an upbeat, catchy tune—if you sing it, everyone’s bound to get into it.
apple pieback number

A Bakunan number included as the coupling track for the single “Heroine”! Incredibly, the song is only about 2 minutes and 40 seconds long—so short you couldn’t even finish cooking instant cup noodles! It isn’t a major release since it’s a B-side, but it has a fun vibe with a great sense of rhythm, making it an easy song to try even for those who aren’t confident singers.
