Remaining unawaregood-for-nothing

Light and gentle tones and a fragile singing voice that sinks into the heart—Shiranai Mama de is a track released in June 2022.
The lyrics and composition were created by Vocaloid producer MIMI.
The melody is delicate, and every single word carries weight.
The lyrics, which depict the ambiguity of everyday life and small regrets, may resonate with those who find life a bit difficult.
At about 2 minutes and 14 seconds, it’s a short song, so why not give it a try?
First Love KillerNo Murasaki

This is a song by Noshin that expresses the feeling of being in love through catchy lyrics and melody.
It was released digitally in May 2024 and created a big buzz on social media.
The lyrics, which skillfully portray the sweetness and bitterness of first love, resonated with the younger generation.
The blend of a pop, contemporary sound arrangement with Noshin’s fresh vocal work is also exquisite.
Why not try singing it at a get-together with friends?
A Little Love SongMONGOL800

It’s a classic that always ranks high in karaoke, right? It’s well-known, and the melody of the lyrics is gentle, so it’s easy to sing.
It’s an easy song you can finish in under four minutes.
The chorus seems like it would be exciting to sing together with everyone!
Only a single voicegood-for-nothing

A tear-jerking ballad that gently sings about the importance of opening up and showing your true self.
Released under the project name Rokudenashi, fronted by vocalist Ninjin, this song expresses the struggles of living, inner conflicts, and the glimmers of love and hope we try to find within them.
The arrangement starts quietly and gradually adds layers of sound, and it truly makes your heart tremble.
This is a song that makes you rethink what it means to be human—why not try singing it yourself?
phantom thiefback number

This is the third digital-only single from back number, a three-piece rock band whose songs—featuring delicate lyrical depictions and bittersweet melodies that expand their worldbuilding—are especially popular among younger listeners.
Chosen as the theme song for the TV drama “Koi wa Deep ni,” it’s a comfortable, stylish number with a piano-driven melody.
While there are many challenging parts, such as the falsetto in the chorus that’s characteristic of back number, the song is under four minutes long, so with focused practice you should be able to sing it.
If the key doesn’t suit you, simply adjust it to fit your vocal range—making it a great song to try even for those who aren’t confident at karaoke.
You, the Sheep, and the BlueRADWIMPS

A track by RADWIMPS that was released before the films Your Name and Weathering with You, which also brought them widespread attention! It’s included on the album Zettai Zetsumei.
With a driving, fast-paced melody, it races by in just over 2 minutes and 50 seconds! The stop-motion music video also features actress Nana Komatsu, who was a third-year middle school student at the time.

Yesterday's SongWANIMA

WANIMA, a band that debuted on the same label as Hi-STANDARD.
They’re now a rare act bringing punk rock into living rooms across Japan.
They’ve appeared multiple times on the New Year’s Eve music show and in commercials, making them crowd favorites—but this particular song of theirs is under a minute long.
Even so, the message packed into it is fiery and uplifting.
If you’re confident in your high notes, give it a try.
