That's enough now.Kent on this side

Enough already / MV by Kocchi no Kento
Fine, forget it—my issue can wait.

Singer-songwriter Kocchi no Kento, who scored a nationwide hit with “Hai Yorokonde,” is also well known as the brother of Masaki Suda.

His new song is “Mou Ii yo.” While the previous track “Hai Yorokonde” had some funky elements and included a few challenging sections, this new release features a consistently catchy vocal line throughout.

The range isn’t particularly wide either, so consider adding it to your repertoire.

WOWKing&Prince

King & Prince is an idol group with a large female fan base.

Even after becoming a duo, they’ve continued to drop hit tunes consistently and remain highly popular.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend as an easy track to sing is WOW.

The appearance of falsetto in the B-melody might make it seem challenging, but the lyrics aren’t densely packed and there are plenty of breaks, so you can prepare properly before tackling the falsetto.

Aside from that, the melody doesn’t have many ups and downs and the vocal range is narrow, making it a very easy song to sing.

Kinmokusei Orange Spiny Crab

A song by ORANGE SPINe CLUB, released on January 20, 2019.

The band’s vocalist, Yusuke Suzuki, has an adorably charming voice and a distinctive vocal style—in the best possible way.

Musically, the song likely plays to Suzuki’s character; it has an incredibly cute melody that I think you can sing at karaoke without feeling the need to put on a front.

When you sing it, just be careful not to lose the song’s lightness and cuteness.

I think it’s the kind of track that could help even people who aren’t confident singers, or don’t usually sing, discover the fun of singing.

Cherry Blossoms, Gently — Southern All Stars

For many years, the band Southern All Stars has enjoyed widespread popularity.

They’ve released numerous mega-hit tunes and continue to perform at the forefront of the music scene.

Among their songs, one I especially recommend is “Sakura, Hirari.” Created with hopes for the recovery after the Noto Peninsula earthquake, it features a catchy vocal line designed to reach many listeners.

The vocal range isn’t particularly wide and the tempo is relaxed, so consider adding it to your repertoire.

A Small Revolution SUPER BEAVER

SUPER BEAVER is a four-piece rock band that has been active since the 2000s.

Unusual for their generation, they’re known for a hard, powerful vocal style, and they’ve continued to attract a loyal following without changing their sound.

Their new song is “Chiisana Kakumei” (A Small Revolution).

It’s a refreshing yet powerful track, but the vocal line is actually quite restrained.

The range is narrow and the sustained notes aren’t very long, so it’s surprisingly easy to sing.

It’s also a great pick for practicing vibrato.

AzaleaKenshi Yonezu

Kenshi Yonezu’s new song “Azalea.” Among Yonezu’s works, this one in particular is arranged with a downbeat, dreamlike atmosphere.

Since it’s downbeat, the vocal line is calm as well; the song is basically sung within a narrow range and with low volume.

However, there’s one falsetto passage in the final chorus, so watch out for that part.

If you find falsetto difficult, I actually recommend raising the key by one semitone so it’s easier to produce a clear head voice in that section.

I don't want to let go.T-BOLAN

T-BOLAN - I Don’t Want to Let Go.flv
I Don’t Want to Let Go — T-BOLAN

This song lit the fuse of T-BOLAN’s popularity and is actually a single cut from their first album.

Its lyrics differ from the album version, and the one included on best-of compilations is this single version.

It’s a gentle ballad, making it an easy song to sing at karaoke.
