OLEO D’OR “Oleo d’Or” Version

SWEET KISSESNamie Amuro

Walking through a classical building in a black dress with a lion by her side… What a bold piece of staging! It portrays a powerful woman capable of taming the king of beasts.

What does this imagery mean, exactly? Interpreting the lion as a proactive man made it click for me.

Perhaps it’s meant to convey the idea of a woman who leads.

The lion waiting outside the room looks somewhat dejected, which is quite endearing.

This isn’t CGI, is it? I’m curious how they filmed it!

Misty BlueHideki Saijo

It was released in 1985 as Hideki Saijo’s 51st single.

The song was used in a commercial for KOSÉ Cosmetics’ “Natsu Onna Sonia,” and there’s an anecdote that during the period when the song was being used in KOSÉ’s ad campaign, The Night Hit Studio—sponsored by Shiseido and Noevir, which were competitors of Kanebo—had Hideki Saijo appear performing a different song.

BIOLLIS: “Why is it so beautiful?” version

Faiiing love with youannie the clumsy

Yui Aragaki’s beautifully translucent, porcelain-white skin looks stunning.

The camera zooms in on her sleeping face, and you can really see how fine and smooth her skin is.

Was she taking a nap? Her hair sways in the gentle breeze, and her profile is lovely.

This commercial is for a line of silicone-free shampoos.

It aired in 2019.

You can almost smell the gorgeous fragrance wafting through the TV.

The music is by Annie the Clumsy, a singer-songwriter with roots in the UK.

It has a totally unpretentious vibe, yet it feels very stylish!

SPORTS BEAUTY: Marin Honda with Sumire - Dancing Make-Up

Marin Honda with Sumire Dancing Make UpBOMI

For women, makeup at the start of the day is like a little charm that helps you stay true to yourself and do your best.

We express the joy of makeup through a cute, synchronized dance.

This project was Marin Honda’s first shoot on a stage other than an ice rink, and just like her world-class figure skating ability, she learned the choreography quickly and showed outstanding expressive power in both her facial expressions and movements.

Alongside her is Sumire, who works globally as an actress and singer, portraying the rich emotions of women as they transform through makeup.

Keep your eyes on the makeup dance performed by these two women.

Sing and dance along with everyone—you’ll feel happy!

Fasio Powerful Curl Mascara: “Serious Length” Version

Cinderella Who Took Off Her Dress Dream Ami

The black-haired actress shown in an extreme close-up with a cool, elegant vibe is Dream Ami—formerly of E-girls, now performing as a solo artist.

Many viewers probably didn’t recognize her in the opening scene, right? That’s how important hair color can be.

It looks like the footage was shot to align with the mascara’s image—“beautiful, long-lasting, won’t come off”—with a truly serious long-hair look.

Are they also highlighting just how dramatically one’s impression can change? In the next scene, her usual blonde self appears.
